OMG. You just saved me from breaking my power washer wand! ha. Well, truth be told, I abandoned my power washer in the driveway to cool off a bit and search KZbin. Glad I did! Keep up the good work of helping idiots like me from getting SUPER frustrated with unnecessary complexities....but I do believe your explanation of safety being the most likely reason for this issue.

Paul, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!🎉. I am sitting outside of harbor freight and no one in there knew how to take the gun apart. Sad to say, neither did I. I wanted to add a foam cannon to my Sun Joe 1450, but I couldn't see how to attach it. I went back to my vehicle and searched on KZbin for some type of hack. I found you! The foam cannon that came with my power sprayer just connects directly to the sprayer handle, it doesn't need an extension if that's what you're referring to.

Thanks for the tip after the winter I had a hell of a time getting it off. May I suggest also that getting some plumbers grease and putting it on those joints and in fact, on all of those metal joints makes it a heck of a lot easier going forward so I suggest putting that plumbers grease on as well

I have a SwipeSmith SI-TH003 I just purchased and could not remove the barrel from the wand to insert the detergent box. While your PW is a different brand/model than mine, the root cause was the same. I had to forcefully push the wand into the barrel until it slid flush with the wand. A quick twist and the barrel slid off. Thought I’d share in case others have the same model as I have they will know that issue is the same. Thanks. Now off to wash the car.

Grrrrrrrrr. Last Spring I purchased an extension pole for my Sun Joe pressure washer. It was hard to attach but I figured it out. This morning I had to wash my deck, landing and two short-ish set of steps and the extension pole was still attached to the pressure washer. Of course it was because I was too lazy last Spring to remove it. So once I lugged the washer up onto the deck with the heavy sprayer hose, power cord and hose, I realized, damn. How do I remove this wand???? Time was getting away from me so I used it anyway. What a pain. I didn't remove all of the old stain and I knew I wasn't going to do that anyway; just clean everything so I can stain it tomorrow. Had I saved your video a year ago I would have remembered how to detach the extension. This is what happens when you get old. I will be 69 on the 13th and my memory isn't as good as it used to be. Thank you for the sharing the video!!
