I was fishing up on Fish Creek in Utah. Nothing was rising. I put a sinker in front of a Dave's hopper. Casted out under a fallen pine tree , and wham! Caught a 21 inch brown! This has been my Summer time secret for years. Can't wait to try these! Fishing Strength and Honor 🎖

It's super cool that you show us all these cool bugs, what would be even cooler is if you made a video fishing them. A 2 part series.

Cheech, this is a real problem. Do I save this video under terrestrials, or nymphs? Now I have to make a new playlist for Drowned terrestrials. Come on man😂. I can’t wait to try this hopper!

@@deltadeltas4558 bout the throw a wrench in your problem… here’s one for you. A hopper nymph still floats. 🤯 the nymphal stage of a hopper looks like a normal hopper with no wings.

Want to know why nobody fishes sunken hoppers? Bc it’s stupid to think they can do a better job than the muddler…they don’t track…they aren’t consistent in water column height and the are overly complicated…

@@aa-ron. or…. Maybe this looks more like a sunken hopper?

@ or maybe it’s just a stretch to make stale KZbin content
@FlyFishFood16 күн бұрын
Also, natural hoppers (with all the appendages) under the water don’t track well at all and are super chaotic in the water.

@@aa-ron.yup. A stretch from all the good tungsten headed sunken hopper videos out there. Sorry our video got you in the feels. We’ll do better next time.

@ natural hoppers don’t really sink either so it’s kind of a moot point
