My biggest complaint is storage space on the boats. They are all the same. The high end boats that take the harder to get parts should have more storage.

I'm hoping that gets revamped soon - as it would also be nice for higher end storage inside the base would be larger too.

one bonus for the sail boat is because it uses sail and not a "pushed" throttle you can set it to go and tab out or afk

3:43 the Motorboat , is the best one. it is the one that uses the least petrol and the one where you have the best view when sailing.. I have a blueprint for a helicopter, but it's not my style to fly around :)

Nope, has a horrible view, can barely see the water around the boat and is crap at navigating while in combat. Paddle boat is best.

Fuel consumption is irrelevant, speed is far more important so the motorboat is not best.

Nice video! My only gripe is the Heli needs to be on a land base, so it doesn't clip through ceiling like over a water base.

Just had it clip through my roof on a land base on reload. I think I'd parked it on a seam in the floor tiles but you know, eh, I will probably not be using it much except maybe for fun.

Been watching a lot of these as I just got the game last month, and wanted to see if there was anything i missed or could learn. yet What i see a lot of is people overlooking the paddle boat as being the best, for well everything. its the best general use craft, and the best combat craft. While on the paddle boat it is extremely easy to lure enemies into the water and kite them while hitting with spear or arrows or gun. You can drive around bases and pick off people easy with your view unobstructed. unlike the minicopter it can be let off shore in safety and used as a raid base, should you heed go inland, though usually I wipe an island or base before even setting foot on it. Thanks to the raft, which never once do I need to leave my seat, can keep driving and shooting. with nothing in my way like the other boats. Should an enemy be in the water i have a clear view of it, and yeah the paddle boat is the best boat. not sure why its not being presented that way, if anything some even give it hate and say to skip it. And these are supposed to be pro gamers. Honest advice get the paddle boat, while not the fastest speed i9s of no concern in this game, nothing is far and the paddle boat gets there just fine. I rather the extra time to get there and have a decent boat with utility outside transport, so will always use the paddle boat for its unobstructed view. and its combat navigation capabilities all other crafts fails at.

All good points and tips! The paddle-boat definitely doesn't get as much love as it should. It is a solid boat to make use of - as is the sailboat!

You should have also included the fuel comsumption for each one of them, imo i think the bowfin is the best bang for the buck, as far as fuel usage and speed and turning and carrys 4.

The Jetski is the best lol, i don't see any competition. It can go up to 250km per hour wich is about 3 times the speeed of most things here. After you get the biggest backpack there is no reason to use anything else because it takes too long to reach and loot a location to be able to use the extra slots. Fuel is not a problem later:) I wish the jetski had some competition....the helicopter is just terible

Yep. Fuel becomes a non-issue and so does storage because there is a point where you no longer need to loot absolutely everything. Speed becomes the only relevant factor so the jet ski wins.

you can reach abput 330 with the heli if you max out the dive

Indeed, the heli can get on up there in speed! A lot of folks are complaining about it's handling. I personally have no issues with it though.

I was disappointed when I noticed they patched out pushing the paddle boat while in it... I had that thing upto 300km 😂

if u really and i mean REALLY press P u could reach 800km/h... at least i did at some point... the paddle boat was the best to speed demon with... the motorboat for some reason was much slower... i only could reach 450-500km/h with motorboat

It take a little time to get it down. TIP: When banking, you also need to turn in the opposite direction to be stable. So if you bank left, be sure to turn to the right so you don't lean all the way over and crash.

the sail boat can hit 80km/h by turning it sail with Q and E keys. not in every direction

Good info on speed, BUT are all the vehicles storage the same size ?

At this time the watercraft all have the same storage size - the heli is the only one with a larger storage.

I dunno if its been said in the comments pretty far down, but the sail can be trimmed to take advantage of the wind indicator and you didn't cover that.

So did they update this? Because in my game the marine boat hits 200 normal throttle. The sail boat can hit high 80s in the wind. Small 2 person motor boat hits 100 normal throttle. The ski boat hits 130s normal throttle.

A waterworld based game without customizable boats? The game needs a wider variety of boats, all with the ability to be upgraded/customized- better sails, better motor, more armor,lights, torches, more storage, etc.

Ah, there are plans for the future of the watercraft and what you can do with them. The game is staying updated, so I'm hoping that becomes a reality soon!
