VILLAGE LIFE in BANGLADESH 🇧🇩 Beautiful Rural Bangladeshi Village Hospitality

After arriving in Bangladesh and spending the last few days in the busy and hectic streets of Dhaka, we decided that we must visit one of Bangladesh's traditional villages and experience the beautiful rural Bangladesh.
Ekduaria is a small village located around 2 hours away from Dhaka where we had the pleasure of staying with a beautiful local family. We had no idea what to expect but let's just say we were in for a surprise.
We strolled through the beautiful rice fields with farmers working under the hot sun where Libby had a lesson in picking rice followed by going to the sugarcane field to pick the sweetest and the juiciest sugarcane to share with everyone.

Foreigners in Bangladesh are rare sight, and in village it is very rare. I'm glad that you guys are enjoying your time in our country. @Rudetosociety Sorry have to disagree with you, Bangladesh has lots to offer in terms of UNESCO landmarks, different variety foods, culture, tradition, various religious places, different villages, towns and cities to visit, rivers, beaches, hill tracts, markets and plenty more so I disagree with you we have loads to offer. There are plenty of challenges for the country we need to improve our connectivity, transport system and of course many others sectors which is what the government are doing but things like these do take time in a developing country especially one born in 1971 after such turmoil and destruction due to war, famine and natural disasters, you should know the history. You can’t expect things to change over night it’s a gradual change over a period of time.

Bangladesh has a lot more to offer than many countries which are famous as tourist destinations. Let's say Dubai, Singapore. They literally don't have any natural things. We have hills, forests, lakes, rivers, and oceans. Bangladesh has almost everything. The problems here are people are still not that educated on how to promote tourism outside the world, lack of infrastructure and It's dirty.

Wow, you guys are awesome!!!! Btw, people in the rural areas rarely see foreigners, so they would be staring at you all the time out of curiosity..... hope you guys will enjoy your time in the village beating the heat. Those were geese, in Bangla/Bengali we call them Rajhush (which literal translation is King "Raj" Duck "Hush"). There is a very old ruins in Narsingdhi, you might wanna check out, although its a very small excavation and not much to see. We are becoming HUGE fans of you guys. Love & respect from Bangladesh

From the picturesque countryside where farmers work in the rice fields to the cheeky and ever smiling village kids who are always playing around. The homestay at Jafar's house was amazing and we could not have asked for a better host, he was absolutely incredible 😊🥰

You guys should have visited Kishoreganj, Barishal, Sylhet....those village are more aesthetic and full of nature and full of traditional things of Bangladesh....fishing in pukur is very common thing in village Love you guys❤️
