On my lowest and highest points in my life, siya yung laging nanjan sa tabi ko and hindi ako iniiwan no matter what it takes and no matter what the cause will be. Kapag feeling ko game over na, nanjan sya to say, that i should keep going dahil walang katapusan ang laro ng buhay. She's the bridge to my success, my instrument God gave me and my strength, endurance and cardio. Without her I'm not here in this dramatic world and I'm not who I am today and what I become if not because of her. She is a plain housewife and became a mother and father when papa died. In our small store she was able to produce 4 professional sons and daughters after the storm. She never end her support for me since elementary until now though I disappointed her once. In my highschool ,my life was so dramatic, it was when papa died, and I have no chance to attend college. There were people who are willing to support me but she never permitted me for she was afraid of being away from me. Fortunately, I got a scholarship who grant me for college. The fact that I still need the help and support of my mom, she continued her sacrifice by selling any goods. Balancing the life being a mom and dad and as volunteer of parish organization she was able to surpass all the challenges that life hit her. In my second year in college, I was admitted about a week for my swollen gums and after a month I got pregnant, I made her disappointed, she was devastated too. I went to school with a big tummy. After I gave birth, I was diagnosed with (CAP), Community Acquired Pneumonia, (PTB) Pulmonary Tuberculosis, and Emphysema. Her responsibility multiples. Taking care of me , my siblings and my baby, and managing our small business. I undergone lung operation which is costly and we have nothing but to lend money. God gave me another time to change and to pay back my mom's sacrifice, replace her tears to joy, and replace her sweats to crown.I luckily got my scholarship for the second time and I pursue my study not just for me but generally for my mom. While I am at school for a week, she took care of my daughter. I then again got sick due to asthma and again a costly meds be paid. She has been my #Kaakbay my #Partnerforlife and my #Coach for she taught me to be patience in all things and poblems. She taught me to become a responsible mother and taught me how to live life. I am who I am now because of her. She brings music to my life. I have enough strength, endurance and cardio to fight for whatever life may gave me because she feed me with unconditional love, endless care and support. She deserves all the best and a vacation to refresh from all the storms. My mom is at 60s now and I don't want to regret for not spending time with her. My Lolo Doming is my #Kaakbay sa buhay. He's the only one who stayed with me since I was four when my mother died due to a motor accident. Fortunately my mom was insured that she made sure me and my lolo will have enough to support our living. Everyday, he drives a tricycle to send and fetch me from school from kinder until I graduated in college. And now that I become an advocate of life insurance, and earned. I bought a car to make him experience the feeling of a passenger. At his age of 89, he's still with me and supports me with all my his heart. I love you lolo! ❤ #SunLifePartnerforLife #Kaakbay

Nanay has been may #Kaakbay for life. She’s been my lifetime coach. And she will be turning 70yrs old this December. I just want to honor her and make her special on her birthday by simply having a family birthday celebration for her. She lives in the simplest way of life can offer. A mother who dedicated her life to teaching and now an active member of our parish as volunteer. I just wish her long life and a healthy mind and body! I love you Nanay, always and forever. Mom is my #KAAKBAY for life. Lalo kong na-realize to nung ngkasakit xa and had to undergo operation twice. Ang dami naming maging problems financially and sa health nia, wala naman kasing perpektong magulang. Looking back nrealize ko how selfless she is helping other people and at the same time making sure that she's still able to be a mother to her children. My Lola Conching is my #Kaakbay. Without her, I will not grow up as a caring and loving person I am right now. I lived in the province with her, together with my lolo, since I was three years old. Because of their hard work, I became the first college graduate in our family. My late Lolo is my #Kaakbay sa buhay. Lolo has a new family. And they lived in Manila while we’re here in Leyte. Even if he has his new family back then, he never failed to visit us here in Leyte. He would bring food, toys. He would always make time for us despite the distance. He would give me piece of life advices like, “Life is too short. Enjoy it while you can.” These were the last words uttered by my late Lolo. I remember there were times he would call us to visit him there. But we refused to do so due to busy schedules and lack of finances. Until one day, his new family called us to tell about his passing. #SunLifePartnerforLife

My Papa Dario has been my supporter ever since. He's my number one and my ultimate #Kaakbay because he taught me to be independent and strong. He is a type of father who would push you to something which he knew would help you to be a full grown person. My papa is a carpenter and just like the boat he used to make perfectly, he was able to mold me as someone who knows when to face the wave and when to ride it. Like the boat, he prepared me not just on how to float on the water but most especially on how to move even at the worst times when I have to pass through a storm. He helped me how to value education 'cause for him it is the only thing he could entrust me as an heirloom since he doesn’t have wealth or riches. Now, I understand why he did it. It is for me to know that in life "what you work hard for will last and what comes easy will vanish right away" _it is for me to value education, family, relationships, work and anything that takes time to be built same also with the wealth. My #kaakbay sa buhay ay ang aking kuya. Sabay kaming nag graduate mula elementary hanggang highschool pinagsabay nlng kami ng parents namin dahil 1 year lang naman gap namin sa isa't isa. Hindi kami magkasundo tawag samin aso't pusa. To make the long story short, graduate na kmi sa highschool at mag co-college na at dahil hindi naman kmi galing sa may kayang pamilya, hindi kmi kayang ipagsabay na mag college kailangan isa sa amin ang magparaya na wag muna mag college. At yung kuya ko sya nalang ang nagparaya, nag college na ako sa kursong Edukasyon o Pagtuturo, sobrang thankful ako sa kanya at sya yung naging kaakbay ko hanggang nakapagtapos ako dahil tinulungan nya ako sa mga expenses ko sa school dahil may maliit kaming palayan sya ang nag aalaga at yung kita nya dun yun yung binibigay nya sakin pambayad sa mga gastusin ko sa school hanggang nakapagtapos ako. At grumaduate na din ako, instead na kumuha muna ng board exam ay nagtrabaho muna ako para mkapag ipon at sya naman ang pinaaral sa college at pagtuturo din ang kanyang kurso at dahil sa nakakapagtrabaho na din ako , pinalitan ko naman ang kanyang mga tinulong sakin, tinutulungan ko din sya sa mga bayarin nya sa school hanggang nakapagtapos sya. At ngayong April 2019 grumaduate na ang kuya ko. At ngayong paparating na September sabay kaming dalawa na kukuha ng board exam, at nananalangin kami na maipapasa naming dalawa ang battle na haharapin namin in Jesus name.💙🙏 Aso't pusa ang tawag samin noong mga bata pa kami at the end of the day kami din palang dalawa ang magtutulungan. My Tita Lea is my greatest and ultimate #Kaakbay because since birth to present, she act as my second mom. She always guide me on my journey but make sure to never suffocate me. She allows me to make decisions in life and let me learn from making it either the result is bad or good, she make sure to allow me experience the joy or the pain from experiencing those things. Since I'm from a broken family, she never allow me to experience that I'm an "outsider" inside her home with her own family. She always include me in every family journey may it be bad or good, she never put me aside but let me see that "I belong". She discipline me at times but make sure to make me realize my mistakes as she shares to me her own experiences and wisdom without making me feel small. She rather give me a piece of "bread or good food" from her sweat than eat it by herself or with her family. I may not have a perfect and complete family or life now, but she makes me feel "blessed" rather than "cursed" because of her soft heart and pure spirit. She showed me how to put my faith to God and trust in His plans for me. A great believer of faith and God. That all things are not accident but rather happens for a greater purpose and reason. Ang aking pinaka unang #kaakbay sa buhay ay ang ating Panginoon. Lumaki kasi akong inaalagaan ng aking ina mula pagkabata hanggang ngayon kasi isang overseas Filipino worker ang ama ko. Ang aking #Kaakbay1 sa buhay ay ang aming Sintang Paaralan (Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Santa Rosa Campus) dahil dito nagsimula ang pagwasiwas ng aking mga bagwis upang marating ang tugatog ng tagumpay. Apat na taon akong tumigil sa pag-aaral pagtatapos ng High School at nagtrabaho ako bilang factory worker sa ilang mga kumpanya sa Laguna. Hindi alintana ang pagod, hirap sa trabaho sa kabila ng murang edad. Nang makaipon ng pera sa tulong ng aking butihing #Kaakbay2 Ate Chelyn Iniwan ay nakapag-aral akong muli sa kursong Edukasyon. Taong 2012 ay nakapagtapos ako ng aking kurso at nakakuha rin agad ng trabaho sa isang Big School sa Biñan, Laguna. Dito ko nakilala ang isa pa sa naging #Kaakbay3 ko sa buhay ang Sunlife. Nagsimula kami bilang group account at nang nagdesisyon akong umalis sa Paaralang ito kahit na kailangan ng financial assistance sa susunod na trabaho ay mas pinili ko na ipagpatuloy ang aking account sa Sunlife at taong 2017 nagkaroon na ako ng independent account sa tulong ng aking very accommodating advisor na si Madam Ellen Caro. Kahit na maraming kinaharap na pagsubok ang Sunlife noon ay patuloy pa rin ang aking kapit dahil naniniwala akong mas mapait ang pinagdaanan mas matamis ang bunga. Ngayon habang pinagmamasdan ko ang akong naipunlang binhi ay unti-unti ng umuusbong at lumalago. Maraming Salamat aking mga itinuturing na #Kaakbay dahil sa inyo ay naranasan kong danasin ang mga bagay na nagpapaliwanag sa aking panibagong umaga. My #kaakbay for life is Jeffrey Wong, my fiance, my best friend and my lifetime partner. He's been there through my rise and falls. He's definitely my rock. My mom, Erlinda, is my forever #Kaakbay sa buhay. Being a single mother to four of us children, she has selflessly did most jobs and businesses to raise us all and give us more than what we needed. Though our dreams for me of becoming a Medical Doctor did not happen due to financial challenges and sickness of my eldest brother, I tried to be as good son as I can be to deserve a mother like her. When I had the chance to give back to her back when I was working in corporate sector, I did my best to show her places she has never been to and will not choose to spend money for. In those trips and moments, I saw glow in her face that I wish could last a lifetime. It has been 3 years now since I left my job to become a missionary and despite her worries and concerns of my future, she still has supported my passion and purpose. We have been a lot but her unconditional love and support never fades, rain or shine. Throughout the years in my life, it has always been #Jesus as my #Kaakbay who never ceases to show me na kahit nagbago na ang lahat sa buhay ko, siya ay pareho padin ng pagmamahal at pagtingin sa akin. Ginawa niya akong anak at anak niya ako hanggang sa huli. Last March 9, 2019 I lost my baby. 💔 I was never aware na buntis ako that time since continuous yung menstruation ko for the whole month of Feb. . I was rush in the hospital due to severe right abdominal pain. Sabi ng doctor that day buntis ako, I was happy despite sa sakit na nararamdaman ko nung time na yun. . But a bad news came, doctor told me I need to have an emergency operation since yung baby ko sa tube ko tumurok. . Raptured na pala yung right fallopian tube ko. .it was an ectopic pregnancy. . 😥😭 Hospital bill was too high! Walang wala kami ng husband ko but with the help of our parents, Tita Grace, friends, workmates, batchmates ko sa college. . Nakaipon kami ng pambayad sa hospital. Sila; (especially yung husband ko si Art) mga #Kaakbay ko sa buhay. I will always be thankful to God despite sa nangyari. . My #Kaakbay is my partner and bestfriend, Jim. 8 months ago, my dad passed away due to a heart attack. It was a physically and emotionally exhausting experience as we struggled to arrange his funeral and accept the fact he was gone. Jim and I have only been dating for a few months at that time, and he hasn't even met my family then, but he went above and beyond to be there for me. For the 5-day duration of the funeral and burial, he went to see me everyday after work. He endured the interrogation from my titos, he brought food and medicine, he helped me find plates, utensils, and ice, he gave a ride to relatives to go to the burial, and he comforted me when I needed a few minutes to cry. She's the bridge to my success, my instrument God gave me and my strength, endurance and cardio. Without her I'm not here in this dramatic world and I'm not who I am today and what I become if not because of her. She is a plain housewife and became a mother and father when papa died. In our small store she was able to produce 4 professional sons and daughters after the storm. She never end her support for me since elementary until now though I disappointed her once. In my highschool ,my life was so dramatic, it was when papa died, and I have no chance to attend college. There were people who are willing to support me but she never permitted me for she was afraid of being away from me. Fortunately, I got a scholarship who grant me for college. The fact that I still need the help and support of my mom, she continued her sacrifice by selling any goods. Balancing the life being a mom and dad and as volunteer of parish organization she was able to surpass all the challenges that life hit her. In my second year in college, I was admitted about a week for my swollen gums and after a month I got pregnant, I made her disappointed, she was devastated too. I went to school with a big tummy. After I gave birth, I was diagnosed with (CAP), Community Acquired Pneumonia, (PTB) Pulmonary Tuberculosis, and Emphysema. Her responsibility multiples. Taking care of me , my siblings and my baby, and managing our small business. I undergone lung operation which is costly and we have nothing but to lend money. God gave me another time to change and to pay back my mom's sacrifice, replace her tears to joy, and replace her sweats to crown.I luckily got my scholarship for the second time and I pursue my study not just for me but generally for my mom. While I am at school for a week, she took care of my daughter. I then again got sick due to asthma and again a costly meds be paid. She has been my #Kaakbay my #Partnerforlife and my #Coach for she taught me to be patience in all things and poblems. She taught me to become a responsible mother and taught me how to live life. I am who I am now because of her. She brings music to my life. I have enough strength, endurance and cardio to fight for whatever life may gave me because she feed me with unconditional love, endless care and support. She deserves all the best and a vacation to refresh from all the storms. My mom is at 60s now and I don't want to regret for not spending time with her.
