Adult polyphemus moths live less than a week. They are unable to eat as adults because their mouths never fully develop. (They make up for that as caterpillars!) This woman helped this beautiful moth fulfill her destiny. I'm so glad they befriended eachother. The moth knew to approach this particular human somehow. Just beautiful.

Love your comment! Couldn’t agree more. ❤❤❤ This video was so cool, and quite educational… with the facts in the corner. I think it’d be cool if they showed them in schools. ❤ 🐾 🌎 You know what I realized though? I was doing something wrong as a kid 😬 I didn’t realize mice had poor eyesight and relied heavily on their intense sense of hearing. Anyway, I used to put my pet mouse cupped in my hands and kiss her head. Little tiny baby kissy noises, on the top of her head. That must have sounded like bombs going off to her! 🫣 I had no idea. I feel bad. I know, I was just a kid but damn I probably blew her ear drums. 😢🥺 As an adult, I foster rescues and just applied to volunteer at the wildlife center. Hopefully I can help many more animals get a second chance. (Sorry for rambling on ya 🤣) PS. HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🌈

Kudos to that man who rescued an owl in distress and was able to bring it home to care for it. What I can’t get is how the owl didn’t hurt him as soon as he got a chance. It totally understood that it needed to be calm and to trust him. Animals are much smarter and understand more than we give them credit for. This needs to be looked at deeper so we can understand more about the connection between us, the animals and the planet ❤️

It was SPECTACULAR to see the life cycle of a POLYPHEMUS MOTH UP CLOSE❣️ The males have bushy antenna and the female antenna are thinner. 😉 I have seen in person all of the individual stages of a Polyphemus Moth, but so far have not witnessed the complete life cycle of the Polyphemus moth from egg to larvae (caterpillar) 🦠 to pupa (chrysalis) to emerged adult. This was fascinating❣️ I have collected Monarch Butterfly eggs for many years and watched their complete life cycle many times, and IT NEVER GETS OLD❣️🦋🧡🖤🤍 THANK YOU for sharing this video‼️ Polyphemus Moths are one of MY FAVORITE MOTHS❣️😉
