The wonderful thing about art is that anything can be any colour. Love this painting and the violet on the sand is fantastic. A beautiful shadow colour and the amount used is perfect. I don’t have oils but would like to give this a go in acrylic. Stunning.

Hi maz, I have recently being getting into wet on wet landscaping painting, using linseed oil with titanium white to cover the canvas first, anyway I have been trying to find a video to see if anyone could help me with adding a small figure on my landscape, it’s a picture of my son taken at sunset on Rhyl beach last summer, if you have a moment could you please have a quick look at the picture I have just uploaded on the community folder on my KZbin channel , and if you do have a few minutes could you please quickly advise me on any techniques for this painting, Like should I sketch the figure first, I should be fine with the sky and the sun and the water , I only work with oil (wet on wet technique) thank you kindly anyway , I know I’m asking a lot , and no matter what I absolutely love your channel even though I have just found it Thanks Liam
