Well this escalated rather fast- but Solar had the right idea getting Goliath to fight the dragon, they are just lucky that he wanted something to fight. It would also seem that despite Ruin capturing Moon, he had to do it to keep up appearances, I'm just glad he helped him out to be able to start his escape when he got the chance. Nexus was real pissed off about that- Boy was Sun and Solar lucky to get past the dragon too as it was busy fighting Goliath, Sun having that moment though earlier of staring at it again was something. Can't tell if it's fear or not, honestly I'd freeze up too if I saw that. Just hope they can meet with Moon soon.

And I think Eclipse (Ruin) really does care he cares about Solar as well Eclipse (Ruin) can still help them and he can still save everyone.
