I think I’m starting to understand the situation a lot more - Sun and Moon were - and still are, two halves of a whole. Sun kept Moon’s urges at bay, while Moon kept Sun’s in check. They both worked together and made sure that they didn’t act upon the urges. Now that they are separated, they don’t (or at least think they don’t) have that ability anymore. There is no Moon making sure Sun doesn’t murder people, and there is no Sun making sure Moon doesn’t murder people. They were so dependent on one another that now that they are separated, they just don’t know how to deal with these problems. Eclipse… Eclipse represents Sun’s urges - not just the homicidal ones, but that is a big part of it, but all of them - anger, sadness, greed - all the negative parts of Sun. And we see here, in this video, that Sun doesn’t want to accept the fact that he had - has - negative parts to himself. That’s why, when Sun kept insisting that he was “good”, Eclipse told him to leave. For this all to end with Sun and Eclipse, Sun has to accept that he has negativity to him - but that’s not the only thing he needs to do. He needs to realize that having negative emotions is normal - it’s a part of everyone, but Eclipse, in a sense, needs to accept that not everyone acts on those urges. And with Moon - Moon struggles with these urges because he, too, has the mindset that they shouldn’t be apart of him. But his downfall isn’t in ignorance - it’s in the fact that he thinks it’s built into him - that it’s something that he will never get rid of, so he needs to push it down and keep it bottled up. Moon needs to realize that, yes, negativity is a part of him, but he needs to see that just because he has negativity that it doesn’t make him a bad person. That he can still be good even with negativity in him. Sun and Moon both need one another, that much is obvious. But not because they need to be back together to “suppress the code”, no. They need one another because they can both TEACH one another. They can both show the other the importance of not bottling up your emotions, of how you can still be good even with negativity. they are brothers, your honor, and they can teach each other important life lessons. Hope this makes sense - sorry for rambling so much lol-

It does it makes a lot of sense cause I thought the same thing, this is why Sun and Moon need each other. Sun, even though he doesn't want to, needs to admit that he's going to have these negative urges no matter what, it's something no one can get rid of not even humans. It's part of life and it's part of being human, and yes having the negative feelings doesn't make you a bad person it's just dealing with life is all it is. And even though Sun does need some time away from his brother, I know Moon needs his brother more than ever cause without him he's gonna feel lost. They're brothers and brothers help each other, even in the darkest times.

So let me get this straight: Moon needs Sun to keep his homicidal urges at bay as seen in their argument in Glamrock Freddy’s and Circus Baby Show, and Sun needs Moon IN HIS BODY to filter out his impure wants and to physically protect Sun, or more accurately, the body itself in a way. Now that Sun and Moon separated, Eclipse appeared to fill that void and that role. All Eclipse is is that filter Sun needs. What if that “homicide code” is just an accumulation of Sun’s homicidal and impure wants over the years. Both conscious AND subconscious. If this is true, Sun’s innocence is fake by design. Sun innocent nature isn't fake, it's genuine. He is a good person, by design. The problem is the world is full of bad things, and sometimes good people when faced with those bad things, they wall up and try to block it all out, and try to bottle up all negative emotions. That's what eclipse is, all Suns negative emotions made manifest. Sun is still a good person, he just sadly never dealt with his negative feelings in a productive way

Well. That answers a lot of my questions. Without Moon, Eclipse takes over Sun's negative emotions and acts upon them. Without Sun's positive influence, Moon starts to lose control of his urges. Its like Ying and Yang. One can't be without the other. Since they are both separated, both safety nets are gone. Moon fought to control the urges, but when he started seeing Sun just roll over and take it without fighting back, I think thats when Moon decided to just give up as well. Sun needs to step up and be the person that Moon can see in him, just like Sun can see the good in Moon. Sorry about my rant.

This was intense and it shows Sunrise doesn't know how to handle negative emotions of any kind, just as much as Moon doesn't seem to know how to handle positive emotions. Eclipse is just a mix of both such immense emotions and can't channel either out in a healthy way. Though, can you imagine if Eclipse is actually just trying to help these two through this and just wants them to admit their faults so they can handle their emotions in a more balanced way? Oh God, Eclipse is their therapist.

Moon does not have any of Sun's code in his new body, and with no negativity to manage or control, his code built a new one, his own bad inhibitions, but with no real way of keeping control without Sun's Positivity to keep the balance. sorta like a Yin and Yang situation, thing is, one of the sides was not pulling their weight and causing an imbalance.

My, freaking, goodness- Just, this- AHHH Okay okay okay okay buckle up this is probably maybe definitely gonna get rambly and long. Yet another great one where I ended up pausing frequently and occasionally yelling at the screen when I wasn’t just sitting there SHOOK. This episode REALLY felt like a confirmation of prior theories about Eclipse being a manifestation of Sun’s darker intentions, those desires he’d never let himself act on. It is SO interesting to see how he’d built such a separation between himself and those darker parts of him, because “they’re not him.” And “he would never”, but- Golden Freddy’s right, without Moon there to keep Sun’s inhibitions in check- it’s all him, now. Everyone has those ‘darker’ parts of them… it is going to be VERY interesting to see how Sun moves forward with regards to sorting out potential future confrontations. Especially when Golden Freddy brought up the idea of WORKING WITH Eclipse- like, what could that mean?? Are the two gonna talk more in the future? Will Eclipse be allowed to come out now and again in videos, be allowed to come out and play when they do lets plays of more violent video games? or will Sun try and put more of a chokehold on him and work even harder to make sure he DOESN’T come out, if he does that- what happens when Sun gets angry like he did yesterday- what if he’s pushed just that little bit too far to the point that he loses it? Like with those kids, or the interrogator? I for one am very intrigued to see how Sun ends up potentially ‘laying down the law’ when it comes to Eclipse. How much more or less like Moon will Sun act as a result? Learns to get a grip on his darker inhibitions like Moon has (at least, ftmp). This episode was yet another great one, when I saw the title I said ‘I am not prepared’, and ended up repeating that phrase multiple times throughout the video, because- Eclipse and Sun hadn’t ever TALKED before, like, had a conversation like this. I was not ready- but definitely wasn’t disappointed 😂. Sun, if you just so happen to read this- you can do it. I know you can. Moon knows it, too. We all know that you’re capable of getting a handle on Eclipse. Even if it doesn’t feel like you can right now, especially with Moon gone from your head and being unable to help on the inside like he did- know that at the very least, you have support out here, and Golden Freddy can probably teach you some magic to help, okay?? Speaking of Golden Freddy, I absolutely adored him in this episode. Him offering Sun soup made me so unnecessarily happy, he’s honestly kind of a sweetie when it comes to caring for people he might consider younger than him. Just, good, wise, occasionally weird but chill dad energy, definitely appreciated it. Okay, I’m done now- if for some reason I’m not you may see edits at some point soon 😂

I feel like Golden Freddy is handling this the wrong way, I think he needs to explain to Sun that it is Perfectly normal for everyone to have anger and impulsive thoughts. I think that Sun needs to merge with Eclipse because Eclipse is just a representation of the emotions he doesn’t want to feel (anger, impulsivity ect) and if he keeps running from eclipse he will only get stronger, because, as everyone knows the more you repress emotions the worse they get… I guess he’s always had someone to blame for these emotions… at first it was Moon, now he’s almost fabricated eclipse as a way to keep blaming someone for these emotions… but if he just merged with Eclipse he’d be able to control them easier because it wouldn’t be like he’s transforming into another person, he will be able to deal with it just like everyone else deals with their anger and other things Idk if I’m reading too deep into this I just love coming up with theory’s 😅

heheheh. My theory was right about Eclipse just being Sun's dark inhibitions without a filter. Weirdly enough. My sister experienced something similar when she quit her bipolar meds hardcore. (obviously not murdering people lol) but it was harder for her to control her base impulses. I'm seeing a similar thing here, and I love how Golden is working as kinda a makeshift therapist for Sun. As he said that Sun needed therapy when he first met him.

Sun needs to face it. Eclipse is apart of him. The part willing to commit violent acts. He needs to understand that having violent thoughts doesn't make him a bad person. He chooses not to act on them and that's what counts. As long as he doesn't take responsibility for his own actions, he's going to have a hard time getting his dark side under control. Funny thing is, even Eclipse is telling him to stop lying to himself. He was trying to get Sun to understand his true nature and Sun refuses to hear it. Once he stops denying everything, he might be able to work with or suppress Eclipse. He just needs to figure out how.

Since this started I had a strong feeling that Eclipse WAS Sun, not a separate person. But what really concerns me the most is the fact that if Sun is the one who needs to fight for himself and Moon now, this means that Moon is the most in danger. We know Sun is strong, and he will beat Eclipse because he's done it before and he'll do it again, his motivation being his brother losing it now. Moon doesn't have Sun anymore, meaning depending on how far deep he is into losing his sanity, it's going to be hard (even if Sun tries with his positivity and strength) to return that sense of trust with each other. This means if Moon was Sun's dark shadow of inhibitions before they separated, and he's very close to losing it (if he hasn't already), there's a chance we will have to erase Moon if he gets too dangerous or merge them back together into one body (if Moon is even sane enough to do that at this point). That means the Star that Eclipse wants, might be useful to Sun. If it really COULD initiate a failsafe back to when they were merged in one body perhaps, then Sun could trick Eclipse into retrieving it for their personal gain to save him and Moon, as well as erasing all that has and would happen if Eclipse does anything else horrific. That honestly would be the best way to possibly save things at this point. A bit sad tbh, but in the end their friends would be safe, they would be safe and depending on how the Newton Star effects memories, Sun will be the only one to remember everything. A heavy burden for such a nice guy.

Well at least moon gets time to chill and sun can now try to convince eclipse. But wow, a year since eclipse killed those kids. I think sun should go back to moon and tell him what has happened and that no matter what, unless he actually hates sun(moon), that if they were to get rid of eclipse that it’ll get rid of sun fully aswell

Also, I think that precisely the fact of putting the good of others before your personal desires, no matter how horrible they are, is what makes you a good person. OK OK LEMME GET THIS RIGHT: moon wanted to get rid of his homicide code but instead left it in sun,thus creating eclipse who takes over sun during the times sun feels like murdering someone,but sometimes he goes overboard,even tho eclipse is dwelling inside sun,moon still feels like killing but as moon said in the last fight they had before he punched sun every time he sees blood/A body if gets worse and moon can't do anything about it,and each time sun tries to confront eclipse he seems like no matter what he does it doesn't satisfy eclipses needs/wants,but moon keeps saying he is basically eclipse by having the same intellect,coding abilities,and somewhat strength so if sun wanted to kill someone eclipse would do it but eclipse would make it seem like it's all suns fault thus creating the fight when moon punched sun which is why sun had to go see golden Freddy,but when sun went to speak to eclipse,he didn't want to be friends with sun instead he wants to keep the homicide code inside of sun/him to blame sun and make moons life absolute garbage but as we see in the video where moon first meets eclipse he says,"I'm me,your not me",but he also says to sun,"I could be on the otherside of the world and I would still hurt you",so moon gives just as much pain to sun as eclipse gives to him. @@eternallylearning2811 Honestly I agree. Moon seems to have very low self esteem, hates himself and doesn't think he can do anything right, makes mistakes all the time. Negative self talk can do that and over time without change in mindset or help from outside, it will drive you nuts.

So from my understanding, Sun *truly* never wanted to act on his desire to hurt people, but he needs to do more than *want* to be peaceful, he has to mentally or physically fight back those urges. Otherwise, Eclipse can take control and act out the harm Sun has the urge to inflict. I know Sun can do it. He's had plenty of moments where Eclipse was trying to come out before, but Sun was able to force him back! He just has to keep fighting, as hard as it may be. Hopefully he'll be able to regain a support system so he doesn't have to fight alone, even if that system is only one person. And I have to say, I'm *genuinely* hurting for Sun. He's been repeatedly called stupid, told that he's only good for cleaning up Moon's messes by *Moon himself*- *and* it feels like practically everyone is telling Sun that he's not trying hard enough to contain Eclipse, which I believe he truly is! But it's not as easy as the others may believe, and constantly being told that your best isn't good enough has to be incredibly painful...

Sun was technically correct in a earlier episode that Moon and Eclipse are different Moon is a actual ai where Eclipse is just Sun's darker parts But! I do have to say I was this was tense to watch, but it wasn't as intense as the last video. I think I understand what's going on now, from what Freddy had said that Sun helps with Moon emotions where Moon keeps Sun's negative emotions in check. What needs to happen (if Eclipse is really going to be stopped) is that Sun needs to accept that Eclipse is a part of him. Once he accepts that Eclipse is a part of him he can really work on keeping him in control and to take responsibility for the things that he's done. I hope Sun knows that it's okay to have negative emotions that doesn't make you a bad person, just like Freddy said even people with the purest of hearts have negative emotions. He just has to work on not acting out the negative emotions and keeping them in check. Sun needs to do is go back and bring Moon, so they can work together and help each other keep their negative thoughts in check. I really love what they are doing with the story, I am going to keep watching to see what happens next.

I have a few ideas for some videos: Could you do a reading your comments. I think it'd really help Sun and Moon figure out how to get though their situation, and be fun as well. I think it'd be a cool episode! Heck, maybe even a Q&A would work better. (Unless you guys already did that) Off that topic, great episode! The VAs are really good at their jobs, making the characters convincing (Especially Davis, who has a REALLY good voice for Sun) I like that even in such a dramatic moment, comedy is still implemented somehow. Sun is a good person. Some of the things others say about him almost feel forceful. It's good to help him understand nuances of behaviour, but there are other ways that would be more helpful for him instead of constantly making him anxious and giving him mental whiplash. I've been watching Sun's development for a while and I still stand by Sun. He doesn't have to be like everyone else to be good enough.
