Thanks for showing us the clean tones of this fabulous amp. I found this modelled in my Digitech RP360 and it became my favourite clean amp model. I know about the unique ultra-linear output transformers, but there has to be some mystery in the tone stack as well, otherwise a modeller couldn't recreate it.

The first 100S amp heads were a 4 knob amp...no tremolo or reverb. It came with the Le100 S cab...A JBL D130 speaker, and a JBL LE100S driver horn. The amp cost 1095.00 back in 1968.

I had a similar amp in the 70's. Loved to crank it on 10 and make up wild improvised jams. My best friend had one too. We played in stereo.

Most of the tube Sunn amps i have heard sound very much like Fender Blackface or Silverface amps but with more tendency to crunch on low volume, but they have the same transparency that works just perfect with humbucker equipped guitars.

They are pretty majestic amps. I played some SG guitars through mine mostly back in the 70's. Loud, clean and proud. Some crunch. Pure power.
