Pff. Everybody knows the only way to be truly initiated into Etna is to be carried by one's hands and feet and thrown directly into the caldera by a group of hooded, Etruscan-chanting millenarian cultists. Or, alternatively, to join that cult and throw others, as Sunn O))) and Boris have.

A young maiden called from behind the stone, she sat curled around it, facing me with glassy eyes. Her breaths were short and her words were shorter. She said, "what the fuck is this noise dude, it sounds like straight garbage."

Atop the high tower that overlooked his kingdom, the old king sat and wept. He wept for his people, and himself - for no one could escape that horrible fate... Some 20 years ago, a mysterious crone had arrived on his doorstep. Swathed in tattered black cloth and holding close a bundle, she had thrown herself down at the Palace gateway with outstretched arms. "Please.." She wept. "Take this child, for it has no one else" For some strange reason, the King paused in his duties. He was not such a sentimental man; he was a man who valued efficacy over all else, but something inside was calling. He felt it down to his bones -- a yearning for something new. The King cleared his throat. "Very well. I shall take this child in and raise him as I would a servant. Ask more of me, witch, and I shall have you beheaded for treason" But by the time he had finished his announcement, the mysterious woman was already fading into the crowd, cackling under her breath. ...The King looked back on this moment with sorrow, but not regret. He knew that nothing could have been done to change the path of things - that the kingdom had been doomed to fall at the hands of this child no matter what. Perhaps the King's sentimentalism had only accelerated the process. This child, now of adulthood, was something other than human. This child, that had brought ruination and anime to the comments section, was something MORE than human... He was named J4, and he was a shitposter.

Once I had a friend in school, who used to whistle distant tunes during the breaks in springtime. She was very antisocial and kinda annoying, but she had this strange confidence about her. She didn't care about the opinions of others, didn't have any friends and always held her head high no matter how rough it was - a rebel type, that smoked cigarettes in bathrooms and missed the lessons constantly. Then they expelled her and I never got to ever see her again, but to this very day, I remember how she whistled some idiotic melodies and offered me gums in silver packages. I've always wondered where the fuck was she getting them, cause I've never seen them anywhere else in my country. She always called me to watch the water ripples under the schoolyard pond. I didn't really dig what she liked there, the pond wasn't even beautiful, in fact, it was muddy and ugly; Yet she stood there for hours in silence and watched the dirty water. When she got expelled, I wasn't even sad, I just took it as a normality. But somehow, I still have this feeling of dreadful emptiness and shattering helplessness about her. Sometimes, memories slowly murder us without logic, or explanations and we can not do anything about it. That's it. I know you were looking for some comical ending, but there is none. Fuck you J4, you anime faggot. Etna is great.
