For everyone, who is confused: It all started, after the prophet Muhammad (s.a.v) died and the ummah looked for the next ruling person (Khalif), but not in a religious way only in a political way, because muhammad was and is the last sent prophet. Our prophet didn‘t name the next leader (Khalif), when he died. So the Shias said, that Hz. Ali (r.a.) should be the next Khalif (not prophet!). Nevertheless Sunnis wanted Hz. Abu Bekir (r.a.) to be the next Khalif. The rest are just political and cultural opinions, which got mixed up with time. So the hatred between the two started to grow, because we let ourselves separate from another and lose the bigger focus. The real meaning why we are on this planet. Islam means peace, so don‘t mix it up with hatred. It won‘t suit to ourselves.

We follow how he has commended us from prayer to everything he has commanded. The prophet sws hasn’t commanded us to pray like the shia’s pray. But to pray as how the sunni’s pray. Someone who testifies of the shahada should also act according to the shahada. You can’t say the shahada and be a Christian because then you aren’t following the Quran and sunnah but you have gone astray. So being a Muslim means to follow Quran and sunnah. Not any other path.

Say all you want. We all both know shia and sunni are not the same. You must believe in Allah alone ans that Muhammad SAW is the last prophet of Islam. Islam was perfected during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Taking or removing anything that is not of the religion is bida and this is haram. To be a true muslim you must follow the way prophet and this includes praying ans worshipping Allah as he did and not give his superiority to anyone else or claim his prophet hood was a mistake. Yeah!!they even believe in more hadiths... But after Prophets death there were so many disoriention in Hadiths... So Shias believe in different hadiths... But both side think their hadiths is the real and the true one!!

After the death of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), there were two options to seek guidance from. The ahlulbayt (family) of the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf). Others. Ahlulbayt are those family of the holy Prophet who grew up in his blessed lap. Islam, Qur'an and the shariah was revealed in their house. Angels descended with the blessings and mercy of Allah into their house. Muslims Muslims are obligated to send blessings upon them in their namaz/daily prayers. Ahlulbayt are the flesh and blood of the holy Prophet and he loved them the most and they loved him the most. The holy Qur'an testifies of their purity, cleanliness and infallibility in the holy Qur'an. They are the ones about whom the holy Prophet said, "I am leaving behind me two most precious things; the holy Qur'an and my ahlulbayt..." Who can understand Islam, Qur'an, shariah, the sunnah of the holy Prophet, etc, better than the people of the house? Amongst the ahlulbayt, you have people like hazrat Ali who is the gateway to the city of knowledge of the holy Prophet. Lady Fatimah Zahra who is the chief of the women of paradise. Imam Hasan and Imam Husain who are the princes of the youths of Paradise. Ahlulbayt are the heirs to the holy Prophet's knowledge and wisdom. They are the best examples and the role models for the Muslim ummah after the holy Prophet. Shi'as follow the holy ahlulbayt for their guidance after the holy Prophet.
