Great vid and great useful tips on going back a few streets as well - thanks! 1.80 lv for a beer is like 80p - amazing! It's like 4-5 quid over here in UK, like night and day. Defo going there if I go up to Sunny Beach. Here's a very specific shopping related question - is there anywhere you'd recommend you can buy cheap sections of carpet just to roll down on the studio floor as it turns in fall/winter and gets colder? Those hard floors are great in summer but bad in winter as it makes apartments colder. Doesn't have to be high quality carpet, it just has to be something I can put down in a small space like I did when I was in Cyprus one winter.

We were on Kableshkovo market this week, loads of runners cheap as chips. Yes we have rugs, most important in apartments. Problem is spikey seeds from pine trees, they stick and get in your feet.

Was there in June . Stayed at the hotel diamond. Got a few football shirts from Nicky. Great guy. Took the time and had a nice chat with him. Will come back next year and stay at melia I think.

Enjoyed chatting on his stall, then he stopped us a couple of weeks later to say we are big in Serbia and Greece as customers had mentioned the blog. Glad you enjoyed your stay, the melia is a great hotel though we have coffee in the diamond in winter.

@@sunnybeachlife5860 was my first time ever abroad and my honeymoon. Yeah heard great things about melia. Food at hotel diamond was less than desirable but hotel itself wasn't too bad. Sunny beach in general is amazing though.

Great hotel, amazing pools and entertainment on an outdoor stage. Activation team to keep children entertained. It's a family area my favourite part being five corners so lots of busy streets to walk children out in the evening. Most of the bars are family friendly so children welcome everywhere.

How much are things generally like a pint or a good meal? Quite a cheap place to visit?

In surveys I have seen in UK it comes as lowest in Europe for holiday resorts.hard to give a price, as a couple you can go to a grill, couple of meals with beer 17 Lev, a middle range restaurant two mains with nice bottle of wine 35 Lev or a first class eatery couple courses, wine and coffee around 65 Lev. We ate on the front Sunday friends invitation, it cost 50% more than we normally pay a few minutes walk away from the front as was not as good a meal with poorer service. It's good value like anywhere if you wish to spend you can or come here economy enjoy the beach and resort as such. A large local beer averages around £1 as an example.

Hi, I know accommodation varies alot, but roughly what are we talking to buy a 1 bedroom apartment with walking distance to the beach, bars etc. could you give a very rough price of sale price? Many thanks

Wow they vary by a lot, you could buy one beds for 25k euro last year at the start,, studios about 18k to start. Now add 50% on . New 1 bed would be about 60k euro . Two year ago we could get a 2 bed for 35 or so. There is little about, look on the property websites, a lot of those will have been sold but still listed. A good way is to come, walk about and look for banners with tel numbers on. There are no rules for agents they can add a lot extra on and many charge the buyer and seller.rightmove is quite good to look at as it does give maps on where they are.

The ihotel was finished getting refurbished last year we booked for it but was not finished so we ended up in the Melia hotel the Melia hotel was lovely we missed out on ihotel by 1 week meet family that got to stay at ihotel they said it was lovely as well

The Meliá is better rated for food and more choice but is very big, prefer a slightly smaller hotel ourselves.
