The first feeling is that this place is very quiet, with no passersby, a clean land, even the roads are very clean.

It's such a pleasant walk along the canal where the water is so limpid and the trees so green. How cheerful are the sounds of birds chirping! I like the steep stairs leading up to the red gate of the temple. They seem to invite you to discover the mystery of a secluded place.

Wonderful walk, thank you. So quiet and gentle I love to hear the birds, did I hear a Golden Oriel? Such a pleasant neighbourhood, so beautiful around the temple….and the girl who laughed and spoke to you I think. I notice most people do not say ‘Good Morning do they? ☺️💕

Thank you, I enjoy the bird sounds as well. Though I'm need to improve on identifying different calls. Saying good morning is very dependent on the situation. If I lived in this neighborhood I'm sure everyone would say hello. If I was there a bit earlier in the morning I think greetings would also be common. With all that, a few folks did not or say hello on the walk even as I was a tourist walking in the late morning.

Another superb effort! Wonderful settings, calm, secluded pathways, unhurried pace, and nice camera work. Only suggestion is that I noticed a bit faster panning when scanning surroundings than your usual, which I prefer, since I'm walking on a treadmill and am prone to motion sickness. Otherwise, fabulous content! I am amazed that while walking the housing pathways, that you don't come to dead ends more frequently than you do as you explore the neighborhood! Thank you for sharing the Yamashina Canal Waterway with us. Margie

Thank you! And sorry about the fast pans, you'll notice a bit of variation in camerawork as there is still lots to learn and improve on going forward. I try to keep things slow unless there's something of immediate interest like that boat passing, but sometimes I get distracted😆 This was my first time in this particular part of Yamashina and it seemed like the streets looped around rather than ending. There were a couple streets I would have liked to take a peek at but time was a bit tight that morning. Keep it up on the treadmill over there!

@@ambient_exploration No problem, about the faster panning, it wasn't a huge issue, just closed my eyes whenever I noticed. Thanks for your treadmill workout encouragement. I received a badge from my iPhone for my longest walk ever today at 51 minutes thanks to your video! Thanks for your time in filming all your adventures! Margie
