Also worth noting about Sunny that she inducted into the hall of fame in 2011. I read that soon after she sold her HOF ring but don't know for sure.

"She loved to stoke the fire, among other things." 😂 That was savage 🤣 She also didn't think wrestlers should weigh more than 300 pounds. She's in that range nowadays. 😅

the Luna Vachon situation speaks to how good a person she was. she was a TRAINED wrestler and obviously in incredible physical condition. She could've murdered Sunny if she wanted. Instead she tried to turn the other cheek over and over.
@adambrown979312 күн бұрын
I agree, she could have broken her in half. It's a shame that she's not a part of this Era of time in professional wrestling. She would have been a top star in the WWE, our AEW.

Sunny wasn’t wrong about sable. I never found her all that attractive and she couldn’t talk or wrestle. If sunny didn’t have her problems she’d have walked right by sable in popularity

When The Dog left. Did Bill try to make Butch Reed a baby face? Why didn't they try it, or why didn't it work?
@mox1938013 күн бұрын
they didn't try. they did make butch reed a babyface. he feuded with buddy landell then partnered (sort of) with Jim Duggan to fight Akbar's army.

I get why they used that thumbnail picture, but that’s not the version of Sunny that JR declined. Crazy can always make it through a man’s “logic filter” - if he’s young enough, hasn’t experienced enough crazy before & she looks like that.

In my opinion, it might have been because they wanted to remind people of the dog. However, they didn't want to seem like they were replacing the dog because still loved him. Or theey were just trying to fill a slot for political reasons.

Was she always a big drinker, or did that start in the WWF? I am wondering if drugs, and alcohol had something to do with the start and finish of her problems.
@creativekontrol899813 күн бұрын
From what I gather, she started doing drugs and drinking when she came to WWF. That was one the reasons Chris never left her. He felt guilty for bringing her into wrestling.
@Gabsoile13 күн бұрын
She has always been a heavy drinker, she admitted it on an interview with Bill Apter.

She said it started in WWF but nothing she has ever said was true. She was always a lying narcissist even before wrestling.

I agree with Jim Ross on the fact that Jim Cornette had a great eye for talent. Sunny being one of them. Cornette has a great mind for wrestling and talent in wrestling. He is one of the greatest minds when it comes to wrestling. Politics? Not so much. But, his wrestling knowledge is inpecable. He does have a great mind for wrestling and talent. He saw talent in Sunny and saw a star in her. And she was a star. One of the biggest stars the wrestling world has ever seen. It's just sad how her life has gone down. She's still alive, thank goodness. But it is just sad that her life has taken a downward spiral in recent years. And Chris Candido is one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time and an unsung hero of the sport. Candido doesn't get enough recognition and respect for what he did for wrestling. Dude had a great look, a great physice, pretty good mic skills. He had it all to be a World Champion, especially in WWE or WCW and ECW too. One of the greatest wrestlers to have never won a World Championship.
