I definitely feel you come alive when you're downtown and you seem to have fun in the atmosphere. It would be great if you could find something where you break even renting your condo out and living where you want. Love your vlogs! Van is a gorgeous city and altho different so is TO. It’s really become a vibe the last few years. Endless restos, shops, festivals etc.. and so many cool areas to live in. It may not be cheaper than Van but it has a true big city feel. It’s nice being so close to the Eastern border as well. Super easy to cross over to States like NY, Vermont etc.. Just some food for thought. Honestly can’t go wrong with Van or TO in the end 🩷

I live in Kits, and you're right; the buildings are old. My daughter lives pretty close in a building called 360. Look it up. That seems like your vibe. You can have dogs, and they have laundry.

Maybe you can rent out your condo for the summer months & get a short-term rental in Toronto to see if you like it. Who knows maybe your prince charming has been on the east coast this whole time but you’re on the west coast?!? Another idea is to move somewhere abroad…Mexico? Costa Rica? Italy? Also another idea is possibly renting out your place & renting a 2 bedroom condo downtown & sharing with a roommate/friend? Praying that the best answer comes to you!! Talking suburb wise of course Toronto isn’t as pretty. Talking about the main city itself tho Toronto I wouldn’t say is prettier. It’s just different. It’s got a beautiful New York vibe with some bricked buildings with high glassed tall skyscrapers.

As someone who lives in Toronto I do not recommend living here. It’s so expensive, night life is not what it use to be and the dating scene here is awful lol

Rent and morgage prices have gone wild basically everywhere. Here in Europe in general it has become insane especially with the BCE increasing interest rates. My parent's morgage went from 400 a month to 900 in just 4 months. Plus in Italy where i live the paychecks definetely don't keep up with the increasing cost of living expenses so it's pretty tough for young people to move out unless they live with 3 other people. In the towns, outside cities renting is still pretty affordable but they require you to have a stable income unless you are a student. And I totally get the boyfriend thing, except for me it was just oh I'll have a boyfriend next year and I'll go on a cool trip with him. This was two years ago and guess what? No boyfriend in sight, ahha. I still am pretty delusional not gonna lie. Hope never dies. Love from Italy🥰🥰

Okay but what is money. It’s a social construct. It comes it goes. Also I believe you mentioned before you don’t want kids. So what are you saving for? As long as you have some savings you are fine. Go live your life. Be in Vancouver. Enjoy it! Plus was more people for dating pool. Melissa. Treat yourself!!!
