Whilst I agree with Mac that 4.88 diff gears and massive torque are a big risk for destroying diff gears , I personally believe that it actually the nitro diff gears that are the problem. I’ve had 2x sets of nitro 4.56 gears fail within 30k km for no particular reason in a new fj cruiser that is on 35’s and stock power levels (I’m pretty soft on the equipment too). I’ve also heard other stories of people in the Aussie fj community killing multiple sets of nitro gears. After changing to a different brand of diff gear in 4.56, I’ve had no issues for over 60k km. I can only put this down to the brand of equipment as the diff builder was ruled out. Just my personal experience. Change diff gear brand and see how you go, can’t get any worse 🙈🙈💁💁💁 Love your work lads,keep it up 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Best of luck to you and the team 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
