What part of this video reminded you of French....? I speak both English and French and I don't see it lol... Only the alphabet so far is very similar to French. And just how illogical the conjugaison is...
@rihambaghdali15493 ай бұрын
@@mariammaatouk179 I have to disagree with your take. There are definitely similarities between German and French. Besides the fact that both languages use grammatical genders, some vocabulary and phrases have similarities as well. some German phrases are more aligned with French than English. For example, "Goodbye" in German is "auf Wiedersehen," which translates closely to the French "au revoir." Both languages have complex conjugations that can seem illogical to English speakers. While German may not always align perfectly with French, there are enough overlaps that can make it feel like a blend of the two languages. Just my two cents!

@mrmohammad44963 жыл бұрын
Hello, I have a question! Instead of saying "Wie heisen sie?", can we say: "Was ist dein Name?"?
@sunnygermanforbeginners3 жыл бұрын
The correct way would be "Wie ist dein Name?". You can use this too but "Wie heißen Sie?" is a more formal way of asking. Informal: "Wie ist dein Name?" & "Wie heißt du?". Hope that helps :)
