You are one of KZbin's best Metal Hunters. P.S I predict you will become an Expert on Coins

If you decide to get the Garrett at pro, you won’t regret it. I use a Garrett at pro and my son uses a quest x10 pro. They both have been fantastic.

I would love to get one. I see a lot of youtube detector channels using one. I have to decide whether I am going to pursue this hobby more. I don't have a personal car and would need to rely on my husband or daughter to take me places to detect. They work a lot and don't want to be bothered driving me around because they are tired. So far all I have is my yard to detect, so spending a couple of hundred dollars on a detector might not be worth it for me.

Thanks I just bought one I am getting a bit of interference I’ve not worked it out yet lol
@FuturesPast12 жыл бұрын
Hi. If you are getting interference, all you have to do is lower the sensitivity level until it goes away.

@@FuturesPast1 omg thank you so much lol I would of ended up putting in the Cupboard with my brand new stuff like 2 drones flown once I went so high both times and landed very far away. I buy a new one rather than getting a head ache lol I was just thinking of buying a new one because I was a bit disappointed lol so thanks a lot you are hero gangster status for that. Lots of respect

@@raymondbatchelor1372 Aww thanks! You are like me. If you saw how many things I put in the closet and never used again you would be surprised. Lowering the sensitivity could also make it so you find less things and the depth it picks up objects won't be as deep. Just be aware of that. When you are outside, you need to keep the sensitivity the highest you can make it until the interference disappears. If you are detecting under powerlines, it could get interference and make a lot of unwanted chatter. Keep tweaking the sensitivity when you are outdoors to keep it on the highest it can be without getting too much unwanted chatter/interference. Good luck and thanks for your kind comments.

@@FuturesPast1 it looks like I found a gem without the metal detector a very Beautiful one lol thank you so much I thought i was to turn it down. But if you turn it up are you saying the interference goes? I need to go in the back yard with it lol I would love to know what you got in that cupboard. Probably the simplest of gadgets just with no batteries lol how frustrating lol
@FuturesPast12 жыл бұрын
@@raymondbatchelor1372 If you turn down the sensitivity, it won't be as sensitive so if there are radio lines, electrical power lines, and cell towers that are right by you, the machine won't pick up chatter. However, turning down the sensitivity level when you are metal detecting will lessen the amount of signals it picks up in the ground and you will find less things and it will not detect as deep into the ground. If you are outside and there are no electrical lines above you, then raise up the sensitivity level to the highest it can go. If you hear chatter going off around you, then lower it until the chatter goes away. I hope that info helps you. Thanks for your kind comments by the way.

😂😁 I hate instruction manuals, lol. I would rather watch paint peel than follow directions.

Grazie per il video. Ho pure io questa macchina, trovo assurdo che non ci siano spiegazioni oltre al " classico montaggio". Puoi fare un video se hai preso più confidenza con la macchina? Grazie

@@FuturesPast1 I just got an MD 06 for Valentine’s Day and I mess with it for the first time today and I found stuff with the center but couldn’t find shit when I started digging on the beach so apparently there’s a learning curve

Like seriously it was right over something going insane and I checked all the sensitivity everything but never found it what it was freaking out about

@@colinbradfield72 The object must have been tiny. Do you have a scoop? You will really have a problem if using a standard shovel or digger tool. If you don't have a special sifting scoop, whatever you find might disappear in the sand. I've never detected a beach, but all the people that do use a special scoop with holes in it that sifts so their finds don't disappear or something like that, lol. Oh and by the way even a tiny bit of tin foil or a beer tab will make it go wild. There is always a lot of tin foil or beer tabs on the beach buried in the sand. The best time to detect a beach is after a big storm because all the good stuff washes up on shore. On a regular day you will mostly find junk like beer cans, beer tabs, tin foil and a few pennies, dimes, nickels and quarters if you are lucky. This is why I don't bother going to the beach and detect.
@FuturesPast1 Жыл бұрын
@@colinbradfield72 I forgot to ask. Did you also get a pinpointer? I highly recommend a hand held pin pointer. Without one it will be hard to find exactly where the object is. You can get a cheap one for under $20. I've done videos showing those cheap ones work really well to help find the target. Relying on the machine's built in pin pointer feature alone is not going to be helpful to you when detecting. There is definitely a learning curve. It takes practice to learn how to successfully work these machines. Like I said earlier, a hand held pin pointer will help you immensely and get a sifting scoop digger for the beach. A regular shovel on the beach will be almost impossible to locate your finds.
