Such amazing scenery. This is the first video I’ve had a chance to watch of your most recent hike. I hope I'll still be able to do stuff like this when I retire. 😊 Nice you had some refuges on the way. Your plan is a guideline, not something that really has to be done... Weather is getting worse. Forecast isn't always what you get, especially in the mountain. Sad that you're getting closer to the end ... All the best Kaat

Ohh, my partner and I were at that same refuge near those caves (10:15) a few years ago, but it was so cloudy that evening and morning, we didn't get a spectacular view like that, unfortunately! I could barely find my way back to the tent from the refuge (maybe 20m max) because visibility was so bad 🤭 you win some, you lose some, you definitely won there! And then you complain about the muddy trail, and where are you now? Knee deep in the mud in New Zealand! 😁
