Well explained. One thing to note in any sunroof is the final sealing of the glass and the car roof is by the rubber gasket/beading. Hence, any tiny foreign material or dust getting entrapped in the gasket creates a tiny path for the water to seep. Hence, providing a adequate drainage system as per the design is the most important aspect. Which in my opinion is provided in most of the sunroof variants. Hence, to conclude this cannot be called as a leakage instead a inherent characteristic of a sunroof feature. One more point, we close the car doors with a impact but the sunroof closes by smooth gliding which facilitates the entrapment. Only way to avoid the above is DIY cleaning of the rubber gasket minimum twice a month.
