Benjy has his "mom", Ben should have gone to Maria told her he was going away for a few days with Meg and he would called each day to check on Benjy, It is no wonder why Meg wanted to move out, she no longer felt important to Ben when Maria and Benjy returned. He should have done what he could to make Meg feel special, and at the same time be a good father to Benjy.

@julz6118 Ben, Meg, Maria, Casey, and Sarah, are all held captive by Ben's crazy twin Derek. They escape thanks in part by Meg's help.. It gave them time to reflect! Maria agreed to divorce Ben, and Ben and Meg got married on the last episode of the series, She and Benjy became good friends, and Maria adopted Benjy who turned out to be Derek and Tess's son not Ben and Maria's. With the support of Meg, Ben agreed to help Maria raise Benjy since he is his Uncle. They all lived happily ever after!
