Sunset on Neahkahnie Mountain

With triple digit temperatures in the Willamette Valley, Taylor and I picked our way through Tillamook State Forest to enjoy the cooler coastal weather of Oregon and a beautiful sunset on the knife-ridge top of Neahkahnie Mountain.

Awesome hike. The hot temps made for some epic off coast fog. Those roots wouldn't be fun to maneuver in the dark!

Thank goodness we remembered our head-lamps. It's kind of fun being the last one off the trail at night, though.
