Your paintings are lovely! What do you recommend to slo-w-w- down the drying time for acrylics? I don't have as much of a problem with the palette drying out as I do the canvas when I am painting on it to get colors blended before they dry out. I have tried misting the paints, misting the canvas with water, slow-dri mediums, retarders to slow paint drying time, and nothing seems to work on the canvas to give enough time to blend colors before they are dry. What do you think of slower drying acrylics like "Golden Open," and/or using the new water-based oil paints? I detest the odor and smelly mess that oil paints create. Have you tried the water-based oil paints? I saw one artist take a bottle of slow-medium and squirt it all over the canvas before he started to paint on it. He brushed it on, then began to paint. Thanks
