I thought the water was going to be the easiest part. I never would have dreamed you would have spent that much time and that many colors blending out the water. That was a huge surprise. I would make a mess of it all if I had to keep laying down hundreds of neat meticulous streaks of paint. I also don’t think I’ll ever master clouds. Blending would be easy for me but the details is where I’ll end up having to throw away so much paint and so many canvases. This turned out so beautiful.

It's amazing to me how you could paint reflections at the bottom and make it look like there was actually water there. TYSM for sharing this video with us - it's the method I've been searching for, for over a year, to paint a sunset as it seems so easy to do on the blending part in the sky. 😉

I am a new sub. I started painting about 4 yrs ago(used to follow 'wow art'). I loved painting. I gave pics to my friends and family. My mom gave me all the pics i painted for her back to me.
