Y’know, I didn’t have much high expectations for this show. I thought it would be corny, poorly made, and have bad jokes. And then I watch. Boy did I underrate it. Sure, it can be cliche, but the animation isn’t half bad, the characters are actually pretty well designed, and the humor is amazing. I genuinely laugh through most of these jokes. Glitch Productions, you’ve exceeded my expectations even more, and I can’t wait to see even more from you guys. 8/10!!!

Meggy realized that vacations are meant to relax which cause her to lower her gaurd which also caught herself in big trouble towards the funk crew. Auri had high hopes of achieving his dreams by being supervised by the funk crew but later realize the dark truth (The funk crew are Heros but purposely make villans around the island). The ending left us a cliff hanger because we don't know what happen after the brainwash of Meggy and what Auri would do to save his partner from the Funk Crew. Overall the episode was good because ever since the FNF video, I wanted to know more about the robotic, singing, and dancing characters. Overall Rating: 9/10 (Magnificent) :D

It's interesting how shadow meggy always seems to manifest whenever Meggy's in a weak state of mind it shows how much shes more just hanging out in the back of her mind and whenever she's in a unconscious/subconscious state of mind it takes advantage of that to start belittling her in her rare points of weakness this episode definitely shows that her inner demons are more just let out not actively haunting her like in other similar scenarios of inner demons it's very interesting how this gives us more of an expectancy of shadow Meggy's appearance whenever Meggy's loosing her focus in some way shadow meggy seems to appear it's more like she decents into her own personal insecurities which is symbolized by shadow meggy and the area she shows up in like in episode 3

TL;DR Shadow Meggy basically manifests when meggy is upset or sad. She only appears in dark areas. Like the empty tv screen from this episode. Or the subsconcious of Meggy in ep 3. there i simplified this entire comment.

This all started with the original Splatfest arc, which originally got turned into the Anime arc. Basically, after losing the Splatfest, Meggy (eventually) came to terms with her octoling friend Desti, and they uncovered a plot to exploit all inklings. Meggy was tortured and Desti killed, but eventually they all made it back. Meggy was brought back as a human not a squidkid. Then they had the Splatfest movie-feature, where Meggy finally won the Splatfest, although it was difficult due to her human form Eventually, with the Splatfest won, she didn't know what to do and developed a "shadow" Meggy due to her insecurities. She decided to go on a vacation to Port Aurora to just relax and take some time off, and here we are today.
