Where do I start? First off, Meggy getting brainwashed was a dark turn, but given the overall style of this show, I guessed something as simple as turning off the music would snap her out of it. Second: The Funky Force is in league with the main villain, who's not only trapped inside an egg shell, but is also named after Benedict Cumberbatch, one of the greatest British actors. Third: The missing member of Funky Force is being held hostage by Benedict, which could be a hint that the Funky Force is doing these things unwillingly, and may yet redeem themselves. Fourth: Speaking of redemption, It's most likely Whisk released the Sput Buds. Seems to me like the shy kitty is her true self. She really doesn't want to be a criminal, but Benedict has offered her a way out of her economic predicament. The mask is the only way for her to do his dirty work without moral issues. And finally: Meggy and Auri will somehow survive the explosion, and since Benedict thinks they're dead, it will give them an advantage in the final battle. By the way, Benedict reminds me of Francis in a way. Maybe it's the very British- sounding name, I can't say. Regardless, one was a deformed chameleon, the other's an egg.
