I flew to New York for the first time specifically to see this revival after listening to the OBC recording endlessly as a teenager and thinking I'd never get to see her in the part. I don't think I've ever been more hyped up for anything. It more than lived up to my expectations. I was crying in the theater during this song and the standing ovation afterwards seemed to go on forever. It was just a normal Wednesday evening performance in the middle of the run and she gave it everything like it was opening night. Glorious.

A wonderful actress and should have won the oscar on more than one occasion. But for me, personally, I just don't like her as Norma in the musical ❤
