Sunset Smokey Eye, my go to holiday evening makeup
For those of you who are regular followers, you will know I break for the summer and this is my last film before I head off on holiday with my family.
So I thought it appropriate that I film the evening makeup that is my staple go to when away. It's minimal but perfect for warmer climates and stays put. It's a smokey eye, but super simple to achieve.
There is a huge back catalogue, if you are missing your Saturday morning makeup fix whilst I'm away. These are sectioned into playlists, to make it easier to find the films you want to watch.
I'll be back in September, refreshed and ready to go, with new makeup looks and techniques and some new products for the Autumn.

I just can’t imagine what it’s like to sit in front of a camera and talk to yourself. I tried it once and just thought no, that’s not for me. So it makes me happy that other folks, especially incredibly talented and honest folks like you, are here to give us so much happiness and information! Oh yay! It’s my little Ray of Caroline ❤️. I haven’t been on holiday in almost four years. Like I’ve said before I work in healthcare and so COVID has kept me in place, my facility. I don’t think I’ve even worn regular clothes in three years with exception of a t shirt to bed lol. So I’m going to live through your holiday. Hi Caroline, really enjoyed this one today, red nail polish on the neck included! I live in America in the south, lots of hot hot temps and humidity, so my makeup in the summer is minimal. I liked what you did with the lighter CT bronzer around the eye, looked great and those ND eye shadows for the smoky eye..wow, I like a sultry smokey eye. Love the “wittering on” too. I am going to try that trick with the Q-tip at the lash line. I have a terrible time trying to get the eyeshadow close enough to the lash line on top as the skin folds there. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing vacation and thank you for all of your make up education efforts.

Lovely look👁 so love a simple Smokey eye and understated makeup! I agree about the brows. My hair which I have grown out the color is dark blonde, but my brows are fair blonde as are my lashes. If I make my brows to dark, it makes me look harsh & angry. So I keep them a shade lighter than my hair Have a fabulous Holiday! I should be in my new home by the time you return and then on Holiday to the Beaches of North Carolina.

Your makeup looks beautiful but I still think the eyeliner looks best in or close to the lower lashes with a nude liner in the waterline, so much more flattering looks softer and makes the eyes appear larger.
