Legal issues aside, I love how much respect Steve Pocaro has for Luke. Mark of a true professional. Luke is definitely the super glue that held this band together despite everything. Does the man ever sleep?! I hope these guys eventually mend stuff and jam again. Total legends, each one of them. ❤

I think every Toto fan wants this. I would love to see the last of the members play together live.

I knew the two Steves back then at, and before, the beginnings of Toto through some mutual friends. They were extremely good friends. It is interesting how money and legal issues get in the way of things sometimes.

As for me, I wish Luke would not have spoken so much bad about Steve P when the touring band broke up in 2019. It was hurtful to read it all. Steve P is a class act who I respect.

He may not agree with being called a “living legend”, but Lukather is THAT. But the thing is that he is a sweet, funny and humble person. To have that amazing talent AND those attributes? There will only ever be one of him. Thank God we still have him!

Is there a musician that has been listened to more than Luke EVER? If you think about all the times Africa or Beat It or any of the other song he performed on played on a radio, or a mall PA, or in a dentist's office, or an airport, or a commercial, or a movie and then multiply that by the 1000's of songs he appeared on...honestly, can you make a case for anyone having been listened to more than LUKE? The Beatles, maybe, but I can't think of anyone who has been intentionally and passively listened to more than Luke...EVER!

So true! 🔥Toto has been a tremendous musical reference, not only for its artistic meaning, but for the quality of its musicians.

I wholeheartedly agree! - I couldn't put a number on how many times Luke's playing has given me the goosebumps... and still does; I have a lot of hero worship to offer that artist. My favourite musician.

Yes both Luke and Neal Schon are at the top of their game so melodic 👍😀👍 forget your claptons and pages they aren’t in the same league in my humble opinion

@@RogerMelodicMusic Absolutely, Neal Schon is in my shortlist for sure. Dann Huff is another stratospheric talent that just doesn't get enough love; he sits comfortably inside my top 3 faves.

I.met these guys an Luke was a bucket list for me..real talk. So kind an he tomd me i was so kin̈d . Steve was so nice all were ..hungate didbt say much but was nice Dave i think he saw how in.all i was w/Luke he was like shiot i aint messing w them lol..all true musicians an seem like good souls. Luke is i know. I.named my Doberman after gis son if that says anything..Bohdi ..i call HIM BOHDI MAN CAN.FROM WILLIE AN THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. BUT YEA. IM 52 LY AUNT GAVE ME ToTo 4 album. Theyve been my all to me since i was like maybe 11 years old. The 1st album . Wow. To me their Prog rock.w ballads .their driven like no other band evva to me. Before their time listen to their music now written to great an played to great still..i..love the way Luke plays rythm . Real talk. The solos he does are so nice so great but his rythm to me is what makes luke. So many musicians an solos. It can only last so long but w Luke it doesnt get old. Watch los lobotomys live. Holy Sh-t. I.mean . He is on a differ planet than.other musicians as a whole of other instruments..to me if u could vote the greatest MUSICIAN AS PLAYONG WHAT EVVA AGAINST ANOTHA INSTRUMENT..LUKE IS THE DRIVEN WARRIOR KING..REAL TALK. ToTo is. Steeley dan 2nd. Led Zepplin.nobody close but Luke an hes better as playong one instrument. John Bohnam an JPJ were the best musicians in the band but the sound they crrated is waay still before time. So when i say ToTo is the best of all time ..have u listened like really deep by your self all the albums. They can plan wth evva kind of music they mfn wanna. Thank you for helping my life. I don't think the legal issue was between Steve and Luke. I thought it was between the family of Jeff and Luke's using of the name.
@kuminamoja Жыл бұрын
There is no beef between steve l and steve p. Steve P didn t want to get involved in the court issues. Steve signed off his rights when he left the band in 1987. He s never been a full member again. Like Joseph willemas etc he was on the pay roll. It s about the band name and all that came with it. Because the rights wher not signed off, Jeff was entitled to earnings from 1992 untill now to because he also created the band and name. And well about Bobby, tony spinner also toured as formely from toto, promotors do that. Its just insane that Toto now can not make a record because susan porcaro then get s most of the money. she could have settled and then waved of the rights. Africa is half hers anyway
