I love this song, and of course the harmonies. And really, how many groups could write a song about dashed expectations and make an entire verse about how a late night tv appearance ultimately fell flat? I find that incredibly clever.

I love the roaches, ever since I saw them the first time. I think that they are just great and I wished I could’ve seen them at the Guthrie in Minneapolis is back then I didn’t know who they were and now that I do know, it’s too late. Wonderful singers!

I lived in London in 1990. I'd better have a good excuse for not being at their concert. I love them, and never saw them.
