Sunshine Coast Mapleton National Park. Gheerulla Falls

Starting from Delicia Road. This is a 2.6km return track. An 86m decent to the Gheerulla Creek.
Walk down a wide Rangers track which is fairly straight with pleasant forest views. At the bottom there is a track to the left which goes across the creek and heads towards the Ubajee Walkers Camp part of the Sunshine Coast Great Walk, Today we take the righthand path for about 100meters and the waterfall is hidden up there. Nice cold pool at the base perfect for a swim when the falls are flowing, like today. The water was 15oC at midday. The return trip is a gradual incline so the return is much harder but not to difficult. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
