That was a great video. Gorgeous pictures and lots of detail. I love your positive attitude and sharing such an adventure with your daughter would have been amazing. I live in Powell River and I know the trail quite well. I also know what a great feat it is to through hike the whole SCT. The small group of volunteers, qathetPAWS (Parks And Wilderness Society), who built and maintain the trail and huts are always happy to see the trail enjoyed and appreciated. HAPPY HIKING.

So sorry for my terribly delayed reply! Thank YOU and your community for creating and supporting such a treasure on the Sunshine Coast. It is truly a Canadian GEM of a trail!

Great adventure to watch Linda - thank you for all the details too. Been thinking about doing this trail now I know what to expect. What are the huts like inside? Cots? Thanks!

No, no cots - usually a picnic table, hooks on the walls, and maybe a counter or shelves, and that's about it - you just sleep on the floor, with or without your mattress.
