such a fun song! had a good time learning it Tyler, thank you for sharing your knowledge with everyone. I was wondering if you were still in Colombia, and if you are also taking in their music. for example Cumbias, are a big part in Colombia's music, and if you don't mind doing a little cambia tutorial? I've always been intrigued by a traditional cumbia on a ukulele. thank you for your time and have a lovely week!

Hi I need some advice. I decided I wanted to write a song and I did. I figured out the notes and eventually the chords. I was really proud until I tried to show my family and they told me to be quiet. My family isn't very encouraging and I almost want to stop playing ukulele because of it. Any words of wisdom would be nice. Thank you.
@TenThumbsProductions7 жыл бұрын
First off, I am very sorry you had that negative experience. Learning a song, and writing your own, and doing that all, you should be very proud of yourself! I am, and I am happy that we could help you get there in anyway. If your family won't support you in your journey, find a friend or someone that will. Someone who is honest, but wants to listen. Not everyone is a good listener, less and less nowadays, but that doesn't mean the music you make doesn't sound sweet! Keep rocking, there are people out there that would love to listen.

Awesome, keep your head up. Just like a fish can't see the water it swims in, maybe the fam just get can't see you special what you are doing is! That isn't a reason to stop, but rather to work harder! Thanks and keep on strumming friend. If you ever tape your song on youtube let me know, I'd love to watch.

TenThumbs Productions I made a video of my song. It's call "Just See What I See" and I sang it with my niece. I would like to hear your opinion on it. 😊

It might be me, but the tabs are saying to play a single 5 on the C and the 2's on the C and E, but I think you're playing a 5 on the C and E and just one 2 on the C, or am I seeing that wrong?
@Chimpie6667 жыл бұрын
Awesome tutorial though, gonna try this one for sure!
@TenThumbsProductions7 жыл бұрын
Crap you are right. The double stop isn't on the two, it is on the 5. Thanks for catching that!
