Got married outside in the snow in our ski suits at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge 17 years ago in December and then went skiing. It was a blast and wonderful memory for our wedding. The snow was amazing and it will alway hold a special place in my heart. Still looks wonderful. Thanks

Sunshine is my favorite resort, never had a day without good snow there. Usually your videos satisfy the want to ski urge for a bit when i can't get out myself, but this one just made me totally jealous that I'm not out there too, lol. Sushine is open now. Rise & Alpine is skiing the pow. I am at the east coast, And its dry as a toast. The Canada's ski resorts are opening, We can't wait to see the winter coming. Will it give us suprises? It will soon be the time to rise. Its falling snow, 2024-2025 winter there we go!!!

I grew up skiing Harper, But Ill never forget my first time at sunpeaks, it was amazing. 5 Mile is the perfect first run of the season cause you have enough time to knock all the rust off.

Canada Jay friend! For some reason Banff has a large contingent of Liberty skiers and they all shred, had a chat with a guy running an STH2 toe with a Pivot 2.0 heel on a Helix for maximum elastic travel yesterday :P Looks like a party, chairlift season is off to a great start!

Good stuff. Sadly back home freezing levels have been higher than we were hoping 😢 Managed to ski car to car at Baldy yesterday tho, took a mini road trip to the Okanagan. Only had like a foot of snow 😂 but it was bombproof so you could actually avoid the sharks. Not quite the quality you had, but hey, at least it's skiing

@Rise & Alpine - no one's skiing the pow because the sharks hiding below. Even on the groomers they are a risk @ Sunshine at this time of year! Being in a national park they can't "groom" the slopes, and with only natural snowfall each year can be hit or miss. Have been there for opening weekend more than a few times and have the repairs or new skis to remind me why.. Looks awesome in any case!

Fair enough eh! A shark bite is not ideal at the start of the season. I've already had the inaugural shark tomahawk. I never fuss about my bases though, just the body.

@@riseandalpine for me it wasn't the bases, blowing out sidewalls hitting hidden boulders at high speed isn't easy or always able to repair! Thankful I was able to avoid the tomahawks! Ever been to Mt. Cain on the island?
