You think? Even with the new owner making saunas in China and taking 6 mo to order one, etc?
@SecretHat3 жыл бұрын
Hey Alex, can you do an article or video comparing wooden saunas like these compared to the collapsible models like the Relax Far Infrared Sauna? It's about $1000 USD cheaper so I'm pretty sure meeting of the full mark probably begins with at least the SunStream mini, but the reflective wall material has showed up in other home infrared saunas numerous times all boasting to be just as effective.

I recommend you read the HigherDOSE sauna review on our website: www.alexfergus.com/blog/higherdose-home-sauna-blanket-review HigherDOSE is affordable, doesn't cost you much space, and works just as well as a regular sauna. Hi Alex, great video! could you please tell me the width of the door? Would love for my family to use this cancer/autoimmune etc but unsure as larger whether they would be able to get in through the narrow door? Would you pls be able to measure how many cm’s wide the glass door is? We also have a young high special needs young son, so we struggling hugely financially but my wife’s health is severe and she can’t detox properly so hoping this can help. Thanks so much from Aussie 🙏😊
@LightTherapyInsiders Жыл бұрын
Hey sure, the frame width is 17 inches, so the actual 'open' space would be more like 16.5 inches. Of course you don't enter 'straight on', you go in side on. I'm a larger bloke (107kg, 5'10) and I get in fine. Sorry to hear about your son and wife :( I know how hard it can be, especially in these crazy financial times. Reach out to Mark at SunStream - tell him you watched my video etc - he's a top guy and may be able to do you a deal info@infraredsaunas.co.nz

Thanks for the heads Up about this one, tho I called and the old owner is bowing out , saying the new owner is having the new saunas built in China and that it would take 6mo to get one...pretty frustrating.

Hey, so I was surprised by this news so I reached out to the owner of SunStream saunas - I was assured he's not bowing out, nor are there any delays. He said you must be getting SunStream saunas confused with Heavenly Heat in the US.

Great review! I have a sensitivity to Cedar and I was wondering how strong the odor is with the basswood in Sunstream saunas? Thanks, Tony
@LightTherapyInsiders3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tony, sorry for taking a while to get back to you. I've asked Alex and he says the following: "TBH it's not noticable, but it may have been for the first few sessions (I don't recall it being strong or overpowering though). It's nothing like cedar though. Also note that Sunstream do a hemlock wood sauna as well" So, if you call to SunStream, you can opt for a Hemlock option, if you need alternatives!

Hi Alex, I thinking of buying the mini or the 10. It’s just for myself so no need for the 20. Budget is not an issue and nor is space but I’m finding it hard to justify paying more for the 10 without a great deal of benefit. Maybe just a little more space. I’m 5’11’’ and slim. Appreciate any feedback!
@LightTherapyInsiders7 ай бұрын
If you're 5'11 and not on a tight budget then I would go for the 10. The mini is a great option for those who very limited financially or only have a small area to use it in. I've been using my Evolve 20 a lot recently, and I went back to doing a session in my Mini and I thought 'oh gosh, this is cramped'. I'm 5'10

It's about 1,400 Watts, so you end up with 1.4 kW/h after one hour of usage. In my country, one hour of usage will cost you about 15 euro cents ($0.18). So, no, don't worry about going broke! -- Bart from team Alexfergus

Could you fit a small 3-4 portable steamer inside with you in this sauna? Could you feed a cord through the door?

Hey William! I've tried the aferg.co/sun link and it works perfectly well for me. I also got a confirmation e-mail. Maybe try another browser, or, even another computer? And, depending on for what country you order, the Voltage will automatically be taken care of. Assembling and disassembling is possible, yes, but, transporting it is somewhat more difficult.
