I love this movie. :) Not sure how accurate this is to other Scout Dads, but I know I had my stepson polishing his derby car's nails/axles in a makeshift lathe. (A drill clamped in a vice) lol. Less friction = faster down the track. We did win and we built shadow boxes for two of his winning derby cars. They're on display in my workshop. :D

Whenever adults get involved in a kid's sport, the result ain't pretty (just for the record, the movie reminded me of the 1973 Akron soap box derby racing scandal. I'm surprised no one made a movie out of that)!!!😀😀😀
