Both the Track-1 and TX-PRO are made of the same Tricarboco shell construction. The only difference is that the TX-PRO has a carbon finish visible, whereas the Track-1 does not. The PRO is not a fully carbon fibre shell (which is a good thing). The TX-PRO is actually slightly heavier per shell size due to the the 22.06 homologation requiring a denser shell and EPS to endure the testing.

Note: The Suomy TX-Pro Chieftan helmet has the Light Smoke visor installed, not the Dark Smoke. Both visors are sold separately.

I was shopping for a new helmet ,It was between the tx pro and the exo R1,ended getting the exo R1 for the lack of info on sizing for suomy ,I wear a large in most helmets and I didn’t know if it was gonna fit,I knew from past experiences that it’s on the smaller side but wasn’t sure,I didn’t want to risk it,and if it didn’t fit I had to return it,it would have been expensive since I don’t live in the us or Canada,the downside for the tx pro that it has 2 shell sizes,in sizes large and above it will look so big and bulky , but the weight on that is really impressive,I was into it because it’s so light,but couldn’t take the risk seems like a very good helmet,no one brings that brand or kyt here or even scorpion,bought the R1 from Europe,it’s a really good helmet but a little bit heavier at 1450g and it has 3 shell sizes!!

The Suomy TX-Pro is running true - we recommend ordering according to the sizing chart for a great fit. Despite having two shells this helmet is still rather compact. Initial feedback has been exceptional.

If you do order a Suomy in the future, note that most people are a size down from what they normally wear. It's all dependant on head shape but I've sized countless people up in these things and 8/10 times, if they are a MS/ML in AGV, M in Shoei, M in Arai, they are an S in Suomy.

My head circumference is exactly 60.5cm. Should I take size L or XL?

Mine is 57 I ordered Med and I'm disappointed when it arrived cos it's too large. Medium I got feels like XL and I'm returning it

@@zedexchris0106 I had the chance to try it on recently. Size XL is way too loose, size L is way too tight. Guess I'll stick with Arai and Shoei.

@@zedexchris0106 Always go a size down from what you normally wear when dealing with Suomy. Most of the people I fit in Suomy lids are a size down.

If you are in between sizes, we recommend going up to the next size.

The XS has its own shell so it would not work.

Suomy seems to have disappeared in Canada I just see the ECE rating And not Dot Oh well I can still get it online from Europe.
