Honestly no country can compare to the amazing ingenuity and and ambition of Japan, I'll be honest from most sensibilities it can come off as goofy but damn does it have heart. hats off
A legit masterpiece. I don't even love Spiderman or Tokusatsu style but I enjoyed it thoroughly. We're binge-watching it with a friend of mine and we're astoninished by it. Love and praise from a dude from Turkey. Arigato and Kakeru, Supaidaman!
Everyone's wanting Tobey and Andrew in No Way Home, meanwhile I want this guy.

Imagine Doc Ock looking up to see Spider-man looking down from a giant combat mecha. Doc Ock: "Who are you? Where did you get that ROBOT!!" Spider-Man "I am the Emissary from Hell!! You killed my Spider-brother's Aunt! You shall pay for this transgression." Leopardon bring his fist down.

Green Goblin: You know, I'm somewhat of an Evil Scientist myself. Spider-Man: I see, so that's how you go. Then I shall be the blade that tears apart the evil within you. Be prepared!! I'm the world's greatest Martial Arts Champion, Spider-Man!!

Nicholas Hammond, Hirofumi Koga, and Danny Seagren should all have been in it.

Just like fine wine this interview aged very well. Japanese Spider-Man is well beloved and a classic which is tons better than the US live action version. Also I think this canon after the last episode of Japanese Spider-Man where he takes off his costume he then goes to see Stan Lee the original creator of Spider-Man.

There's really no such thing as canon in comics. There may be a particular reality that is front and center at one moment, but there are always multiple realities out there, and every so often a new one becomes the focus.

Yeah just like the 90s animated series where Peter goes to an alternate reality to meet Stan Lee
Rest In Peace Stan The Man and Mr. Watanabe. It was a shame they never got to write and create their definitive Japanese Spider-Man. Hopefully someday Spidey will have a perfect reintroduction to the Japan mixing the source material while also adding their own take. Nonetheless if Lee said Supaidaman was perfect, so do I. It’s a timeless classic.
