Her daughter, Saroj, initially pursued modeling but faced resistance from her uncle, Dadasaheb Jaywant, who believed no one would marry her if she entered films. Ironically, his own daughter, Nalini Jaywant, became a beautiful actress in Indian cinema.
Influence of Industry Pioneers:
Saroj, inspired by legends like Master Vinayak and Bhalji Pendharkar, married Kumarsen Samarth and transformed into Shobhana Samarth, marking her film debut with "Nigahein Nafrat" in 1935. Ratanbai and Shobhana’s journeys influenced future generations, making Kajol the only actress whose great-grandmother acted in films. Shobhana’s children, especially her daughters Nutan and Tanuja, continued the family legacy.
The Samarth Family Legacy:
Shobhana Samarth and Kumarsen Samarth had four children:
Nutan: Born on June 4, 1936, Nutan became one of the most respected actresses in Indian cinema. Her career spanned several decades, and she delivered numerous critically acclaimed performances.
Tanuja: Born on September 23, 1943, Tanuja also made a significant mark in the film industry. She married filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee and had two daughters, Kajol and Tanishaa, who continued the family tradition in films.
Chatura: Born on September 10, 1945, Chatura chose a different path and excelled in handicrafts. She married Babla Mukherjee and had three daughters, Shilpa, Reshma, and Simonthini.
Jaideep: Born on August 18, 1948, Jaideep pursued photography and became a successful photographer. He is less known in the public eye but has made significant contributions to his field.

Your video clip has blatant errors. You also sound terribly judgemental. As an outsider, you only know what you have heard in the media and tabloids. You should have stuck to facts. The court battle was between Nutan and Shobhna... over her mishaning daughter's earnings. The plane incident involved Shobhna and not Tanuja. You have also used incorrect names: Shobhna's son is Jaideep and not Jaidev. Also, Nutan's son is Mohnish and not Manish. At about the mark of 8:40, referring to the Shobhna's son's birth in 1948, you said "Unnees sau chaurasi" That means 1984, making Shobhna 68 at the time of his birth! LOL The year 1948, would correctly be said as "Unnees sau aDtalees."
