スペイン・グラナダの「ゴッホの椅子」づくり（1967） / ’Van Gogh’ chair making in Granada, Spain (1967)

このフィルム映像は、1967年、木工芸家の黒田辰秋によって、スペイン・アンダルシア州のグラナダ郊外にて撮影された。黒田は宮内庁より皇居・新宮殿の椅子制作の依頼を受け、椅子の原点を見ておきたいと、息子・乾吉とともにヨーロッパ各国を視察した。新宮殿の椅子を納めた後、黒田は木工芸分野で初の人間国宝に認定された。
このスペインの椅子は、日本の民芸運動の担い手たちによって「ゴッホの椅子」と呼ばれた。黒田とゴッホの椅子を巡る物語は、『ゴッホの椅子　〜人間国宝・黒田辰秋が愛した椅子。その魅力や歴史、作り方に迫る』（久津輪雅 著・誠文堂新光社刊）に詳しい。
この映像は黒田辰秋の孫、悟一氏より提供された。
This film was shot by Tatsuaki Kuroda, one of Japan's best known woodworkers, in 1967 at a suburb of Granada, Spain. Kuroda traveled to Europe with his son Kenkichi to observe the making process of Spanish folk chair. Kuroda was later certified as the first Living National Treasure of woodwork in Japan.
