Unfortunately Mike I decided to not pull the trigger on this one, because of no place to display, the size of the box if I buy it just to have it seated till I get a new house and most importantly I'm working on putting more shelves in my garage for my figures... I ordered one. A little disappointed that all tiers were not unlocked, but at least this means this one will not be over produced. At under 4000 being made, it will be highly sought after in the future.

This would be great in a giant display room. It's almost the size of a person. That's cool you'll be getting a Key bonus. This looks really well made and hopefully easy to assemble, or is already pre-assembled when it arrives. The interior looks very cool.

I'm currently on the fence on this and have to decide soon... I am collecting Super 7 Thundercats, but it's just so big. I've been downsizing my collection in recent years (mostly Transformers) and getting smaller/fewer items over the years and this is so big and in the complete opposite direction I've been going. Also the Canadian price is marked up more than just conversion and some additional shipping. I know I can always sell it afterwards, but I don't need the hassle with something this big. I guess I'll have to decide shortly... One thing - I would say that the market for Thundercats is much smaller than MOTU, so this may not do as well as Snake Mountain in the aftermarket. Although because there will be fewer of these maybe it will even out.

I agree. I've been backing off of collecting, selling much of my collection. Getting older..looking towards retirement in the next 10 years but what a Centerpiece to the whole collection. Eternia for He-Man (much more popular) was huge but lots of empty space and Not in the Cartoon where We live...and not that stupid remake that made. This Cats lair looks pretty cool but just So much.

No way is this a good investment, it's too expencive as is. It's too big to store for a year or 2. Even if it unlocks all tiers it's still a lot of money just sitting in a box. Hell just shipping to a customer is going to dissuade buyers. Super 7 cant even sell 5000 of them and half the backers are probably buying ddujplicates not to mention the straight up scalpers. I'd bet that of the 3500 backed, less than 2000 are for collectors proving the lack of a market.

For all the reasons you give, it's why its gonna be one of the most sought after collectibles in the future. You know exactly how many of these will exists and is one shot. In 40 years there has been only 2 cats lair made into toys.

@@shindanrod I'm not agreeing with you Those of us in That age range that loved the cartoon is Old and towards retirement...and thinking Toys of those Old shows might not be as valued as other Retirement concerns and fun. and storing such a thing in good shape, shipping it some day etc....hmmm.

I'm kind of thinking the same. thing...Us older people that know/love the Cartoon are getting Older yet...and come retirement in the next 10 years or so...we might be focused on Other things more important than buying our Past to feel good?? Or is youngsters going to have a connection/love for this or perhaps a Reboot (Good reboot) in the future? I just don't know.

I often get frustrated with some of your videos. But especially this one. You have me sooooo fucking close to pulling the trigger on this. I think price is fair. Just size and how to properly display. Needs to be like on a center table so can see both sides. And I think that’s why not as many have sold. It’s a smaller market of customers it seems

Super7 are such a shitfest, I wish they actually put effort into the figures. I love Thundercats, but the price point of these figures are ridiculous for what we get. Wish ramen toys would make some thundercats

In Biden's current world (and big toy companies probably taking some advantage of the "issues" of our country the last couple years) here in the US, I'm having a hard time thinking about getting this. and dude...Thundercats is NO He-Man.
