Good looking figure but way to big for '1:12". I'll watt for the Jada one to match the others.

I got mine the other day and I'm having fun with the guy. Only advice I would give is be patience when posing the guy and use multiple supports, this is the closest Storm Toys is going to get to a gymnast.

I think the term j see used wrong the most is “g1”. They usually mean g1 toon, but g1 could be the cartoon, the toys, or even the comics. They all came out the same time.

Example, let say you have the Kraken with no arms... Do you still consider it part of a nice collection? Even figures without their heads... I personally just don't count them as part of my collection.😀💡☕👍

Terms in collecting can be describing Mike... I will not consider a collection a bunch of broken toys and in very bad condition but some people consider it acceptable! 💡☕👍

Mostly the problem is some ppl forget to add "in my opinion" before using those terms, most of them are a matter of perspetive since they will depend on what you like, want or think. The term we isn't badly used just because there are other opinions, when ppl use we it means they are talking about them and who ever shares their opinion, they may be wrong when they imply that everyone shares their opinion but they only need one other person to share it and the term we will be well applied. Cool is absolutely a matter of opinion and again just because ppl don't agree with you it doesn't mean it's badly applied. You don't need to know anything about whatever to use the term cool, it's an opinion, it's completely personal. Vintage is a term created by winemakers to be applied to wine but ppl use it to describe old things that are high quality, it's now used so loosely as a marketing strategy (it normally means it's hard to get since it's not being produced and sold at retail so ppl can charge extra for it) that it doesn't even mean quality it just needs to be old and old is again a matter of perspective that will change depending on how old are you. How many years is vintage is a convention, it has more to do with the quantity of years then the specific year it was made and it will change depending on what you're talking about but there is no actual definition beyond the one in the dictionary that says it's a high quality old thing. I know you where being ironic with the well actually and I have nothing to say regarding that, the feedback I didn't understood why you where saying it's misused. Perfection is again a matter of opinion, it will depend on what you like, want and think so as long as ppl use "in my opinion" first there is nothing wrong with using perfection to describe your opinion even though I agree that perfection isn't achievable and there is always room for improvement because the infinity goes in and out but that is semantics.

M, just thought of it watching this video, maybe a video about keeping or selling figures you just bought n update for. I've only sold to stores not folks. I still have all 3 Blitzwing, both Blurrs, several Optimus, 4 different U Magnus, don't wanna sell not worth only a few pennies for favorite bots. I do still want the few MP version of what I had as a child, Trigger-happy Slugslinger, Surshot , 3rd autobot Target master can't remember his G1 name, crossfire??

My two biggest pet peeves are not exclusive to toy collecting: 1. People misusing the word 'literally'. "I literally laughed my head off!". No you didn't. 2. People saying "This paint application came out really good!", instead of "really WELL". The first one is arguably the worst, because it's recent. Many people seemed to suddenly forget the meaning off the word about five years ago. When it comes to number 2, Americans grew up surrounded by people who say "you dance good", or "I did good in the exam", so it's a hard habit for them to avoid. Pixel Dan frustrates me because he does it a lot, but then a minute later will say it correctly. 😧 At least he's trying, bless him.

Good topic. “Perfection” is the one for me. There will always be room for expression, improvement and innovation. Especially in the area of articulation and transformation from bot to altmode . I look at MP TFs as works of art and I enjoy exploring various artists interpretations and concepts of G1 robots. That’s why I know, as long as some company will make these beloved figures, and offer their artistic expressions, I will always buy them….even if I already have 6 versions

First correction is "we be broke" because we collect. Vintage is subjective its different for eveyone, beat to nor use that in your searches. A thing that urks me is people juatifying hasbros annual price hikes. Hasbro even says in corporate talk during their stockholders meeting thats its to over charge costomers to compensate for failing lines in other areas. Wotc is doing bad but transformers gijoe mylittle pony is 38 percent proftiable ya they lump lines in explaining to cover low spots.

"Obviously". Just in general it is misused so often as a filler word. Great video though. Ooh, I get slightly miffed if I get someone contacting me to tell me my item that I'm selling on a platform is "0231-6 and not 0231-5 serial number" or 1986 not 87 release date - something so obscure that it has no effect on anyone looking it up or interested in buying it. Lecture, chastise and disappear. Don't get me wrong if I misspell the name or have wrong pictures ,then fine. Heck even the approach to the conversation is what gets my goat. A nice interaction is always better than a know it all condescending one in any walk of life. Keep up the good work Mike

@saysoun75216 сағат бұрын
Depends on what it is that's being considered. With videogames, it's 15 years. It's 20 when it comes to toys and 25 for cars.

Ft Jazz and cliff jumper are perfect There's nothing wrong with them in either mode
@theafroalien316911 сағат бұрын
I call them my Moonbase 1 crew. They are really nice and I consider them the best versions hands down. However, because I’m a pose junkie, I want Jazz to have butterfly joints and other shoulder capabilities that this current model can’t deliver. The same with Cliffjumper. The absence of butterfly and shoulder capabilities, lack of ab-crunch and and wrist flex leaves room for improvement on an otherwise brilliant model.

I'll say it Ultra Magnus xtb is perfect He's identical to the cartoon in both modes
@saysoun75215 сағат бұрын
Love XTB Ultra Magnus but, he stays in alt mode now because I have Fans Toys. He doesn't look as good but, that paint really pops and so he in robot mode. I was confront cancelling the FT version once reviews came out but, he was sold out so I kept it in case I changed my mind. This way, I'm not paying a scalper for him. XTB looks better, at least to me, in both modes but, because of the paint and how bad he looks in alt, FT stays in robot.

Beast Wars is well into "vintage", if you consider the 20 year threshold (1996-2016); after all, BW turns *30* next year!! 🤣🤣🤣 MP1 has technically hit that point - as far as Masterpiece goes - back in 2023 (assuming the Takara MP1 first came out in 2003 and considering that 20 year threshold...ayo hol' up, it's been two decades since MP1 *already*!?). Each part of the Unicron Trilogy has crossed that threshold, as did Car Robots & RiD01. I think that the problem is that folks aren't actually _specifying_ what they refer to, instead grouping it all under one umbrella...and that definitely ain't the correct way to do that.

You missed out a word a lot of people get wrong. You can't even correct them either because they get upset: Scale

I’d rather have the KO with more die-cast. I would’ve waited for this one. I feel obligated to keep the packaging on the official and treat it with kid gloves. I’d be more willing to ditch the KO packaging and not worry about it so much. I hope they KO the rest of the offerings. Especially if they add more die-cast. I cancelled my preorders for the Bumblebee and Cliffjumper mainly due to cost and partly in hopes that KOs will show up soon. I’m hoping for the cab only KO. I’d prefer the animation colors, but would definitely buy it regardless of coloration.

The 'we" term is not something I've heard much about intriguing or otherwise. But this Bintage thing is more prevalent. Since we're not talking about wine G1 transformers are not vintage. Because they're not of high quality what would be considered vintage would probably be the first masterpieces MP01 and MP02. Not so much for the design but for the materials used. A more accurate representation of vintage with probably be fans toys sovereign. They're coming out with a 2.0 but the first one would be considered classic or vintage classic because it's older vintage because of it's high quality.

So glad you brought this up. These aren't really misused, but to me it's lazy/dumb that most of us are guilty of is describing the aesthetic as "toon" or "cartoon accurate". While both clearly descriptive, they just aren't the right terms to be using. Just about anything else would seem less silly. Cartoon accurate sounds like a term an auction house would use making these figures seem like 16th century paintings or something.
@masavantКүн бұрын
We cannot accept these terms unless you ackchyually give us perfect feedback on cool vintage content. I know, bad joke. The term I dread seeing people use around me is MISB (Mint In Sealed Box), knowing how some people go about preserving their boxes with ways of removing adhesives, I'd rather people just be honest if a figure has been opened out of the box. Every figure I get I have record me opening the box to inspect if I need to use after market services cause I'm given two left hands on a Hiya Rambo Part 2 figure or the product gets damaged during shipping from it not been secured in the packaging, I just don't understand why people think I would pay less for a open box. That said if there are missing parts and I see more than two addresses on the box, I'll will get a partial refund one way or another. As you can tell I have had a "few" bad experiences with people using that term.

Except for when they did the Mexican blue Cliffjumper as that was extremely bad. I had no problem with their regular red Cliffjumper nor their repaint for Hubcap but, the blue Cliffjumper wouldn't peg into place in alt and broke whine training him back to robot. I watched TMReviews video beforehand and with all his troubles, I still bought him as he was on sale for $20. I figured it can't be that bad and it's actually worse since mine broke. I didn't even bother to try to get a replacement piece as he was that bad.
