Super 7: Thundercats Ultimates: Snarf Review

Let's take a look at Snarf the fearless, finally hitting the Super 7 Roster!

1st! I got Snarf as well as the rest of wave 7!

Snarf should have come with a stripped down pinless Lion-O. Kind like how the Orco came with a prince Adam hidden in the package in the MOTUC line.

It just doesn't work like that anymore unfortunately; plus Snarf is way more intricate. What would've been nice is some additional accessories...like a glowing eyes Lion-O head.

I can say that Snarfer is comparatively smaller than Snarf. Great job Super7! After the interview with WE WANT MORE THUNDERCATS podcast, I was worried that Snarfer would be somewhat smaller than Snarf. The final design makes Snarfer’s size very accurate to the Thundercats 80’s TV show!

Sadly Brian Flynn said Snarfer will be about the same scale as Snarf but feel smaller LOL! Whatever that means!?

Yeah 🤣, it's gonna be the same body. Zero surprise since I knew they weren't gonna do what's right and scale down Snarf's body. I think where their dumb dumb brain is comin' from is since Snarfer has facial features that make them look younger and smaller...if you put them in the background behind Snarf, you can somewhat convince your brain Snarfer is the correct scale 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Nice review, but you need to twist his calf and then his feet, because there are placed wrong, (the long fur from his calf needs to go back and the short in front), so the legs look and bend properly.😉

10:50 Snarf was notorious for standing on their tail; so that was something that'd get mentioned to Flynn a lot, with needing to make them balance on their tail. So not like a means to make them seem a tad taller. With the price thing, I'm still literally the only one pointing out charging less for smaller figures has (virtually) never been a thing. I always start off with mentioning Kenner figures like Wicket...an o' so tiny figure that cost as much as Amanaman. And I understand it's a drastic price difference with $20 or less figures (Black Series Yoda, MCU Rocket Raccoon), to $55 ones. The fact remains, this isn't new information, but why is everyone acting like it is? Simply because this figure costs more. And they are *_all_* overpriced.

It is an interesting point. However Transformers proves the point of charging less for smaller figures. Legends, Deluxe, Voyager, Leader, Commander, and Titan class all cost different prices in the same line. And as far as the height of Snarf, I'm sure it's a psychological satisfaction that you're paying a lot for a 5" figure as opposed to a 3" figure. Just an opinion mind you. And yes they all could be cheaper. Thanks for watching and your thoughts.
