I appreciate you checking it out. The location is awesome on the right day to get a bend in the rod. What's the rarest species that you've pulled out of there? I caught a couple of Spanish Macks there, but its usually Bluefish and Jacks.

I've caught Jack's and flounder using shrimp , I've caught Jack's on spooks and I've also caught Whiting on pinfish lol

@@TwinHooksOutdoors Daaammmnnnn. I've never got a flounder in that area. I know a spot up by Haulover Canal to catch them but never near Canaveral. I hope I run into you one day out there.

Cool channel man! I fish there a lot also, and with the same lures. They smash that h20, and their cheap. The hooks hold up pretty good too. I like the chrome. Keep slaying em!

I’ve been considering paddling that area for awhile now but figured there would be some serious boat traffic. I have done some paddling on the other side of the lock but nothing notable caught. Just in the last year I've broken so many of my PB's by trying new water. Most times it doesnt go well but once you start to get your eye for picking spots.....testing new areas will be something that you'll look forward to rather than be discouraged by it. Academy Sports has their own brand called H2O Express. I use the H2O Express 4" Thumpin Swim Shad in the "Chicken on a Chain" color. Its the best soft plastic swimbait for inshore in my opinion. Feel free to ask me questions any time. Love hearing from other anglers.

You can in some areas but make sure you’ve got a setup for making long casts to target the high potential spots.

I gave a few away but yeah I’m eating them. The best way is to grill it and then shred the meat and use it in tuna fish sandwiches in place of the tuna and it tastes exactly the same. Thanks for subbing dude!
