Wow what a storm you are brave to go out camping in it, I truly enjoyed the video it made me relaxed and sleepy, I am terrified of lightning as you are but do enjoy the thunder if under coverage but I wouldn’t do it alone , thanks for sharing, really a great video, stay safe

It's better to lower your tent so that the wind cannot penitrate well and the rain cannot go inside your tent totaly

I am sure you mean lower the canopy. Most definitely for protection from the rain. Use shorter poles. Please be safe.
