A lot of runs on youtube are fake but a couple peope have done it legit, including myself and superSNES pimple nomiss run. it's not impossible just very hard took a long time to land this maybe few years

Fantastic run. I was only able to beat this on the arcade cabinet because my friend worked at the arcade and let me play it free 🤣. Jeez, how much money i could've lost! And you "one quartered" it? Very impressed

yes it took a lot of attempts and practice, after a few years I did it on hardest, but I could do normal 1cc a few times before that. thanks for watching

@@edgarector I have not, but I've seen a lot of videos on it. Not really interested at all, I don't like the modern cartoon artstyle or the humor, the redesign of the dark queen is depressing. Combat looks ok? but then again the enemy variety and design is not that appealing to me. I wish it was more like SOR4 and have a darker tone like arcade Toads but still have some humor in there. No online co-op either. I'll take a pass on it

Not trying to be a smarty britches...just want to know as I’ve been working on this for almost a year and still wonder if I’m missing something with the controls. Do you have a turbo setting on whatever mod or mame or whatever you’re playing on? Because you’re running whenever you’re not holding something and you hit the running smashes consecutively and in spite of your direction change a few times.

@@60BloodyChamp60 no the emu I'm on does not have turbo function. I'm just consistent with it, also know how to buffer smashes to avoid attacks. Smash attacks dont happen unless the health is low, so you usually want to throw enemies into other ones and use kick to crowd control.

Found this while searching through KZbin an amazing play of this game you did extremely well I would have died more then I can count the hardest is Karnath I can never seem to time his bites before he gets me all the time but a great video none the less keep up the great work.

thank you, on hardest you have to buffer your dashes and use good spacing, he recovers too quickly to not be perfect

You know it's a Battletoads game designed to be more mainstream because there are only three game modes in it. =p All that time walking around with one bar of health was pretty nerve wracking. Great job as always. Since you seem to like arcade run and gun, maybe you'd like to take a look at my Alien Syndrome playthrough. It was one of the Sega classics back then.

very possible just very difficult. This is the only hardest nomissc with zitz recorded as I know. Pjdice has done hardest runs as well with a nomiss on pimple. They are really rare cuz I don't think ppl think its possible or want to put in the time to learn

I'm trying to 1cc this game right now and I have to ask how do you always the punt on downed enemies so consistently? Everytime i try it I get the ground'n pound it's very inconsistent

there are some americans ( including myself ) and chinese runs ( legitimacy questionable ) it is hell, not a lot of people put enough time to do it. most the runs on here are fake ( besides superSNES ) as for korean runners, im not sure. I havent seen anyone do it yet

No-Miss in japan is referred as a No-death , an old arcade term used for shmup clears. it's not clearing all enemies in the game.
