@@bultacowally IKR...my Dad was gonna get a '69 Hemi GTX convertible with a 4-speed through the PX when he was in the Army but the wait list was too long and he figured he'd kill himself. I HAVE a '69 Roadrunner with a 440 that I wouldn't dare line my '07 Mustang GT up against in a pinks race.

You can tell the super bee and roadrunner are related . The front end resembles a roadrunner or GTX , while the back end looks similar to a 69 charger . They should bring Plymouth back to retro the roadrunner , they would sell tons of them .

@@Calbenmike Chev's were so slow I rarely "open it up". Had to spot most of them... Chev's didn't even get me into the other 2 carbs. Only 2 times I was EVER beat by a chev was spoting a nova 5 and let him run slicks, and I had street tires (not even a cheater slick), And he barely beat me by inches... The other was trailered with big tired slicks. He beat me by 1.

That is a Dodge Coronet Super Bee with the twin scooped on the hood. Not a A12 true Super Bee with the single bubble and fiberglass hood.

You're right I think...He didn't say it was an A12 but ...he didn't mention "Coronet" either...if that's the original hood...looks like it might be an original 426 hardtop Coronet super bee which is pretty fantastic in its own right...I'm pretty sure I see the hemi badge on the side of the scoop there....and it sounds like it could be too...I'm no expert but this might be the rarer car.

That color is gorgeous and the sound is menacing. My '69 Roadrunner bows to you "kinda", she normally raises her head when I mash the loud pedal :D I just hope I'm doing my Uncle proud in beating the piss at times out of his baby/treasure when I take her out. Pretty badass to have a car when some old fuck offers $40k for it while pumping gas to just be like "Nope, not for sale" Miles and memories baby!
