Which is weird because the Midwest is pretty much South Canada. Edit: I live in Ohio which is basically divided into North and South. N.Ohio is basically South Canada and S.Ohio is either N.Kentucky or N.Virginia.

Pat would hate it here in alabama. We call every drink from fanta sprite to pepsi coke and personally I see it the exact opposite. I fucking hate it when people call soda pop. Its just easy for us lazy laid back sonsabitches to call everything coke since theres more horrible carbonated death beverages sold here than any kind other part of the US Ive traveled. We have a brand of soda sold in dollar stores called jolt or as I call it death coke thats specifically advertised as double the caffiene and double all the sugar of any soda on the market.

That's not enirely true. In Scandinavia you cam in rare instances find a Dr.Pepper. They taste slightly different from the rest.
