I'm getting it, I want to see the abominations that spawn from the Deviantart players twisted psyche's. I'm not even going to make an OC so much, just a Shadow Android from Shadow the Hedgehog's multiplayer as a giant middle finger to everyone who spent ages on a convoluted and mad backstory... The androids backstory is that he's been programmed to eliminate all OC's that are male and pregnant, because reasons!

Yeah had a feeling these guys would be too harsh about it. I mean, multiple franchises have introduced the OC mechanic in the past and they've worked out fine, why should Sonic be treated any different? That said, getting the game myself, I probably won't use the mechanic unless it's needed for gameplay reasons.

I know all about DeviantArt's reputation regarded Sonic OCs, but that shouldn't really affect how it'll go with Forces. The way I see it, they've added in this mechanic mainly for kids to enjoy it. I fail to see any issue aside from people immediately poking fun at something that would show potential.

Yeah, concerning people saying that Sonic Forces is going to be dark times, all I'll say is that it's very appropriate that the "NO FUN ALLOWED" reaction image comes from a Sonic comic.

I understand that, but I have to defend the fanbase a little, being a part of it myself. A good majority of fans are the DeviantArt fanatics we're often made out to be. Every fanbase has their own "dark side" - Undertale, Star Wars, FNAF - while most people who love these franchises are hardly weird or obsessed about it. I just feel Sonic fans get too shafted by outsiders because of what the few more vocal fans like to show off. Anyway, Sonic Forces. Unless the OC stages are mandatory, I feel no obligation to try out that mechanic of the game once it's released.
